How can you improve the SS formula though. What else needs to be done outside of the realm of actual superpowers?

Well there's a line.

The SSf just makes you like the best physical specimen possible. You could go further with it. I'm just thinking about the 40s-70s when all of these writers came up with all of these wild sci fi and adventure ideas they could've went further with the concept of it. There's a bunch of golden age examples even in to pulp comics

So with the SSf it improves the body but already in Marvel when you jump ahead there's a character called Colonel America who was soldier during the Korean War that was in a program that was an offshoot of the SS program where he took a formula that focused on improving the mind; he did end up with super powerful telekinesis abilities though.

Then if you look at extremis in the comics, it's tech based but it allows for you to be the smartest you can be and you can connect to all sorts of other ****.

Also if you just look at something like the movie Lucy (lets ignore that they're wrong about the whole 10% use of your brain thing) the abilities she ends up having to an extent just seem like an extension of making it so humans can adapt faster.

I say all that to say if you wanted to improve on it you could have something that improved the body and the mind. So you doing what Cap does but you also have eidetic memory, you got some sort of 6th sense, maybe a little Taskmaster muscle memory, some sort of esp, obviously enhanced intelligence, longevity, probably all of those natural talents Batman has to have to keep up with the rest of the JL; polyglot, polymath, etc.

I'm just wondering why Stan or Jack didn't kind of go back to that well to build off that given that by the time they started Avengers they had already bought the rights to Cap and made his past comics apart of Marvel history. Could've done something like their modern age super soldier.

That kiss in the last episode was nice. Bridget Regan is looking like Evangeline Lilly since she's slimmed down. Hope Dottie murks most of the SSR. They did a good job of making those guys unlikeable and douchebags. Funny how they only started taking Peggy seriously after she whooped them.
 
I wasn't expecting that kiss not gonna ly... But yet that chick keeps surprising me like the episode when she said "is that an automatic" jumped from wall to wall and killed the dude.... Had me sitting there like. Wtf?!?
 
Watched the recent episode last night and I must say that was a great episode!!!!! :smokin

I'm definitely gonna miss this show but lookin forward to havin Agents of Shield back!
 
Peggy and Jarvis should've just escaped and let the ssr office get bombed. It's an office full of the douchiest people. Like someone said glad that their stupid boss got what he got.
 
Can't ly I did like her boss... I think I just became a fan of the actor and not actual character tho.... Cause even in fast and the furious he plays the good role of the guy they want you to dislike just my opinion

I know. I keep hoping the next episode is gonna be better. :lol: Oh well one more to go. Looking forward to watching better shows.
