espn's gay propaganda is a new low

I'm surprised son didn't get signed to the Atlanta Falcons...you know how Atlanta is :nerd:

Wish dude the best in his career though
he should've got drafted by the giants ..

That would be the first victory since for NY in a few years.

J/k bro.

If I had a son, I definitely wouldn't want him watching men eat cake off of each others faces.

As far as ESPN is concerned they are just doing their part in engineering mass sexual confusion. Unless you understand why such images are promoted, and who benefits from it (quid bono?) all of this will only serve to confuse you.

Didn't read the thread

You know espn/nfl are currently contacting anti gay groups to come protest the rams home games so they have more juice for the media coverage, right?

Classic left wing distraction for the mindless.

Link?

Any proof?

ESPN highlighted Manziel's GF for a straight week, this guy is the first openly gay to be drafted, why wouldn't he get the publicity, the highlight is not on his level of skill, but simply the change society is making....is not like dude was a first round pick...stop yelling "special treatment" let the boy cook.

And ya really bothered by gay DOA?

spot on... just dont think it was appropriate for a sports network

and I said the samething when Tiger got so much airtime about cheating on his wife

exactly that tiger circus was a joke who he sleeps with has nothing to do with golf i dont care

Its news. And like it or not, its the biggest sports story running right now, because its where sports intersects with the current climate of societal change.

I mean, proof positive of that fact is that you felt so vehement about it that you made a thread about it in a non-sports forum.

It's sensational and elicits strong emotions from viewership, be them anger or approval.

So, Why would they not highlight it?

People don't really think in this vein, too sensible and objective.

LOL @ the dudes starting their posts by saying "I'm all for gay marriage" or "I'm about as liberal as they come" then complaining about how gross gay men are.

ESPN showed Russell, RG3, all those dudes with their wives and girlfriends celebrating. Lauren Tannehill and Katherine Webb were on our televisions for a week. The national championship was on and all you dudes wanted to talk about was AJ's girlfriend.
But show two men kissing and its "ESPN never shows the other side, they just want to push their gay agenda!!! >: "

Just call it what it is. Don't dress up your feelings in faux outrage about something completely different. You don't want to see two men kiss on your television. It's fine. Come out with it.

Michael Sam didn't get more air time than Johnny.  The difference is Johnny didn't make you feel weird when he got picked.

Did they just show them with them, or tonguing them every time they mentioned their name?

It's not even comparable.

Is that what they did with Sam? Pretty sure that was the first and only time that happened. Also pretty sure it was their choice to do after he was taken in the n draft. Not like every time they mention him he's *** makes holding a dong.

Y'all try too hard

Yeah. Did you watch?

I know I turned to ESPN Sunday and before the NBA coverage or them mentioning anything else. They showed him kissing dude over and over again. I finally changed the channel after five minutes when I realized I was about to be Tebowed.

ESPN is the most known sports network on the planet ....

the NFL has NEVER had an openly gay player .... sooooooo, what did you really expect from the cliche, talking head programming that ESPN recycles every day?

but.... if it was the WNBA Draft and two girls were kissing on camera y'all ****** would have a "________ Appreciation Thread" within minutes

let's cut the **** already.

I'd rather them cover a first in the sport than have to watch Johnny Fooseball's ******* Pro Day one more time

They wouldn't show two women kissing over and over though.

Just like Brittney Griner didn't get anywhere close to the coverage, much less her accusations against Baylor. Which to me should have been something other than a OTL segment, but ESPN is in bed with the NCAA conferences.

I don't even know if it is for ratings. A lot of people watch espn no matter what subject they're covering. They talk about the same 3-4 stories until you want to kill yourself and look for different channels to watch. Seems like espn just wants to make themselves look better and show everyone they care about issues.

Sam was tonguing with his BF?  Missed that part.

Lol that's NOT what happened but ok

What happened to the NT phrase "let him cook"? Guess not if you don't like it.

if by "ratings" you mean "illuminati efforts to turn you gay" then sure, I can see where you're coming from.
No I mean everything is for ratings meaning ESPN did what they did so people can watch, discuss, and make 25 page threads on NT about. It is TV. It is all about viewership

Tonguing them every time they're with them? Let's keep it real for a second, Michael Sam kissed his boyfriend ONCE, then on another shot smushed cake in his face and kissed him again -- something every married couple we've seen ever has done at a wedding celebration. He wasn't doing anything culturally OD.

When they got drafted Russell's hyena of a girlfriend got plenty of screen time, in fact she just had her own segment on Sportsnation LAST week. Why when Russell was drafted two years ago and he's divorcing her? Because, ESPN wanted to show significant others and thought she made funny faces.

AJ McCarron was interviewed on DLHQ and sportscenter. 5 minutes of each interview was dedicated to asking about his fiance and Lebron and a bunch of other celebs getting at her online because she's hot.

And you're gonna front like we haven't all seen and searched Blake Bortles' girl after their bowl game and the big deal all tv networks and even the UCF coach made about her. Most people knew more about her than they did Blake until the combine. ESPN always does this. It's the only reason we know who these women are.

We saw Michael Sam kiss another dude twice, and all of a sudden it's "why are they being so extra?" "dude's are faking it and forcing [propaganda] down our throats" (lulz at that wording) and "tonguing them every time they mentioned their name."

Take it easy. Michael Sam's pops and a lot of his fam disowned him. As such the only people he's got riding with him are his Mizzou team/classmates and his boyfriend and his family. He put a lot on the line coming out publicly and in the end things worked out for him.

They were happy and embraced cuz that's what couples do. Let that boy celebrate.

^ Well for one Britney Griner wasn't the first openly gay WNBA athlete. And she also didn't get captured kissing her girl on tv or you would have seen it.

You also can't compare homosexuality in the WNBA where it's more widely accepted to homosexuality in the NFL where 8 seconds after Sam was drafted a Dolphins player tweets out "Wow. Disgusting."

And then people wonder why this is a big deal...

and also this. obviously it was compelling television because people feel so strongly about it.

Put yourself in the shoes of whoever runs sport center/espn/etc.

What gives you a bonus or let's you keep your job? Ratings/new shows,segments/etc

Now if this gay thing didn't have the steam it has, then it would be the same as Jane Doe scissoring her teammate at the WNBA(sp?).

There isn't an agenda, there is a rating system and if your subject gets into mainstream news and you are not covering that's job suicide
