The dude is just an idiot.

Browns use Bills #1 and 2016 1st rounder to get Graham??? They have cap space to do it.

How stupid do you have to be to let weed get in the way of your livelihood? Especially if you have the opportunities these athletes got :smh:

how stupid is it that weed is enough to warrant a suspension in the NFL?

I'm all for stringent drug testing, all for getting PEDs out of the league. but enough is enough already with the weed policy.

it's ******* dumb, and it promotes alcohol abuse IMO. instead of unwinding with a joint after a tough week, players go drinking. what happens? fights, altercations, DUIs, murders, and vehicular manslaughter.

a lot of that could be avoided if guys were allowed to toke up. **** is bogus. in a league supposedly promoting player safety they disallow something that can help players deal with a litany of medical issues. so many guys are addicted to pain killers after their playing careers, that also could be avoided if guys were allowed to toke up in lieu of taking highly narcotic pain-killers during their playing careers.

at days end teammates can wind down, bond and avoid a lot of trouble by being allowed to smoke.

totally disagree. if that's the only way you know how to unwind...i feel bad for you. and if you use not being able to smoke up as an excuse to do other dumb ****, i think that's laughable.

it doesn't have to be the only way to unwind but it should be available as an alternative and it's certainly a better alternative to alcohol.

you're really mincing my words aren't you? yeah......you corny fam.

You can't be serious. You're a millionaire if I have sense enough to call a cab if Iv'e had to much to drink you should to. Its really a shame guys like Dez have to be baby sat because they can't act right in society.

fact remains, marijuana has its medical properties. it's an excellent option to treat the aches and pains associated with the rigors of the NFL game and it's far less narcotic in nature than a lot of the pain killers they pump these players up with.

This.

Never touched a joint in my life and I've never turned to alcohol abuse or gotten involved in things I shouldn't have because I couldn't "unwind" by smoking weed .

that's what alcohol does, completely compromises the decision making ability of a lot of these players.

It may be a bad decision to smoke marijuana, but whens the last time we heard about a player "getting high" and being involved in a stabbing murder, a shooting murder, a DUI death, etc...

tell me? show me some examples.

oh thats right, there aren't any. those are only alcohol related. wow, look at that.

but you drink right? you may not abuse alcohol but you certainly drink to bond with others or chill on the weekend right? maybe after a long day of work?

so you're using it to unwind.

oh but if someone smokes up to unwind it's got to be a bad thing right? and **** the medical properties marijuana has?

ya'll dudes man. hypocrites.

Nobody should be getting suspended for weed imo, if it becomes a problem let the team handle it.

I agree. More than anything it's just a ridiculously disproportionate response when dudes are getting multiple DUIs and arrests, beating their wives/girlfriends, without getting suspended.

Really the policy makes no sense.

Why is it shame? Dez had some issues, the team did what they could to help him, now he seems to be on the right track.

You should be allowed to smoke weed between the half too

If you wanna be able to smoke weed and get away with it then go get a 9-5 and give up the NFL career

thank you.

listen, if a guy can't handle his weed, by all means he needs to be treated.

but if guys can smoke responsibly, not get into trouble, then what business is it the NFL's to say they can't smoke?

but they can drink? huge double standard there. **** is archaic as hell and ya'll know it.
