I usually reserve trash for the Rex Grossmansh players but honestly Rex Ryan sabotaged Dirty.

He willing and purposely surrounded that man with manuer and no seeds and said grow a forest.

Never believed in the RGIII hype to be honest. He had a few good games sure but thats about it. hes not healthy anymore and i dont think he will return to what he was during his rookie year and what he was projected to be.

Kirk isnt a star but he will be a better QB for that team than RG3 IMO. I havent seen much of him but hes look decent and i expect him to get better over the course of the season. I bet in a few weeks no one will give a damn if RG comes back or not.

He hasnt done anything with the team to warrant a starting position either (RG)

i don't think he's necessarily trash either.  he had the misfortune of being on the wrong end of one of the most embarassing plays i've ever seen though. i was at that game, i've never seen an individual player and/or team get booed the way sanchez and the jets got it that night. 

but between no consistency at the wide receiver position, an offensive line that fell apart after his first two seasons, and having two of the most incompetent offensive coordinators there are, he wasn't put in the best position to succeed and unless your an elite top 5 qb, the situation your put in during your developmental years is a big part of the situation. 

that said, unless foles gets hurt, i doubt he's starting any games unless the eagles have the nfc east and their playoff seeding locked up come week 17.  he might see some garbage time action though.

I agree. He's definitely not trash. I didn't like the kid at USC or at NYJ but that team got worse everywhere and became more of a circus as time went on. Fans boo the **** out of him and he gets all the blame. Line got worse and he has no talent to throw to.

I most certainly do. He has a great arm (not the most important but it helps) , he has the ability to hit the deep pass (some guys just can't do it arm strength or not), he doesn't force passes very much at all , he's very accurate (especially short and medium range, deep he's a little more erratic but that's every qb ever) , mobile (duh), and he has a knack for making plays on the move (in more of an Aaron Rodgers way than a Vick way) and *When he's healthy* performs very consistently. Last year he had a little more issue with accuracy and obviously mobility but despite what espn talking heads might spew out he really wasn't bad at all he just could not move at all so teams just consistently sent pressure up the middle against a terrible o line in general but especially the interior. His accuracy wasn't up to its usual level due to a slip in his mechanics (specifically planting his back leg and turning his body after he was set) which I think was mostly due to that giant brace he was wearing especially since in 2011,2012 and the small doses of real football from this year I haven't seen them be an issue. He also doesn't always get off his first read quite quick enough put that's very overblown most times qbs will throw either right in rhythm to their first read or move to the second and if that's not their the go to a dump down or scramble, even Peyton who seems to have all day every time rarely gets past his second read. Nobody's gonna read any of that so here's a list of qbs and how I have them ranked
1. Rodgers
2. Manning
3. Brees
4. Rivers
5. Brady (could be dropping rapidly soon)
6. Newton
7. Romo (could fall way down this list, his back may be doing him in)
8. Ryan
9. Griffin
10. Wilson
11. Roethlisberger
12. Luck
13. Stafford (could be making a move up)
14. Cutler
15. Who cares they all suck from here on down

First of saying RG3 hasn't done anything to warrant the starting position is just idiotic and I'm going to assume you don't watch many Skins games. His whole rookie year was basically a string of very good performances with the occasional rookie mistake sprinkled in and a horrendous (can not be overstated) defense. That offense moved at ease the whole year.

How will Kirk be better for the team? What football play does he perform better than RG3? The only quality I see cousins having over RG3 is (so far in a very small sample size) can stay on the field (Scott Tolzien playing 30% of the snaps is more valuable than Rodgers playing 0%) and he moves to his second read a little quicker. He also makes TERRIBLE decisions on where to throw the ball and is a gunslinger who throws ducks. So if you disagree with my FOOTBALL observations about cousins or RG3 please give me examples or instances of it being a different way.




PS please please please please please bring up last weeks Jacksonville game or Cleveland in 2012
