Damn man, not gonna lie, haven't seen much of the Pats this year but it sounds awful.

I knew they lost their oline coach, but a talk radio host? A lineman from Snow College? I looked up Snow College and this is the article that came up:
http://www.utefans.net/message.php?id=715694&action=Print

"The No. 2 ranked Snow College football team finished its regular season 11-0 for the second straight year following a 65-20 thrashing of Mesa Community College Saturday."

:x :x :x

But yeah... it seems like that offense is in complete disarray. Bill doesn't trust or like half the players out there. Thought Dobson and Vereen would be the go-to guys this year, instead they're racking up DNPs and 4-5 touch performances.

Lol the Pats are like 150 - 50 since 2001. Yeah Bill sucks as a GM

And how do you know the players dont like the new o-line coach? Not saying its not true, but i havent heard this

Due to BBs moves or due to having a historically great QB? Serious inquiry

Yes, this is real. :smh: They traded away their best lineman and replaced him with a Mormon tuba player with a knee condition that came out of something called Snow College.

 :x :smh:

DSK has been listening to too much Felger and Mazz; a local talk show who hate the Patriots because the team opts to conduct there interviews with the rival station

Of course the defense allowed the game tying touchdown, and Wilson threw the 40 yard bomb to Lockette and led the OT drive to win the game, but what do I know?  It's not like multiple players contribute in different ways to failure/victory in a football game.

Of course, the defense intercepted Manning, "sealing the game" but the offense could only manage 3 points, so Peyton was able to make 3 great throws and 1 unbelievable 2 point conversion to tie it, but what do I know?

And the throw to Lockette was absolutely great. As I have said, 2-3 great throws a game, and take a shower. That was one of his great throws on the day, no question.

Russ is an above average quarterback, not elite. I don't think anyone would argue that. I think the argument starts when people try propping Russ into that elite category because "he's beat the other elite QBs." Seems unfair to the team's defense.
True point.

"QBs don't play the game against other QBs"—Another true point.

"Broncos had 3 points through 3 quarters"—Dumb point

I don't think you can call that a dumb point unless you look at it without context. Just trying to illustrate how impressive that defense is. That's why he brought up skittles rush stats. It supports the argument that Russell Wilson is afforded luxuries that other QBs are not afforded, and doesn't necessarily have to do "as much".

Poor example, but in weeks 1-2, Ryan Fitzpatrick looked decent. No INTs. In those games we forced turnovers, played good defense and ran the ball very well. Week 3, we didn't run the ball well at all, and Fitzpatrick threw 3 INTs. Quarterbacking with the lead + good run game and defense and from behind without those things are very different.

still Hooters out here in Philly but I never understood why anyone likes Hooters; food sucks and the waitresses really don't wanna touch your penis

go to a real bar

We haven't really seen too many swing passes to Vareen. I agree, they should be running and connecting on that much more. Instead we're getting the usual telegraphed *** Patriot screen plays that defenses sniff out.

And when they do run something for Vareen out of the backfield...there is usually poor execution on someone's part. Whether it's Brady overthrowing because he expects Shane to be at a certain spot or Vareen not looking up in time. From what I remember, they ran one swing pass to Vareen in the Oakland game and he dropped the pass.

Brady just isn't comfortable with these group of guys. He's in sync with Edelman and that's it. Gronk is coming off the ACL tear and didn't play a single snap in the preseason so I think he needs more time to catch up to speed because he's not the same player right now. It might even take him all of the regular season to get there.

Is Brady in decline? Yes. IMO it's been a bit exaggerated though. He's not THIS bad. The problems really start with this team's atrocious o-line. Easily a bottom five group in the league right now which is ******g pathetic when you consider the circumstances.

I kid you not...the Patriots' current o-line coach was a SPORTS RADIO HOST last year. The players don't **** with him.

Here's the bio of the 26 year old rookie scrub they tabbed to replace Logan Mankins...

Yes, this is real.

@Mr Marcus
already alluded to it, but the combo of Kraft being a cheap *** and Belichick doing it THE PATRIOT WAY is a major part of this team's success as a juggernaut...and failures in the postseason.

Man, I've been loading up the yoppa on Bill as a GM for some time now. A couple more underwhelming performances these next few games and I'm letting that ***** sing.

Bill the coach =/= Bill the GM. You're making the same mistake that everyone else does...attributing his genius as a coach to his decisions as the manager of personnel.

I'm not saying he's trash as a GM. But he leaves a lot to be desired on that end and hasn't gotten the full criticism he deserves for notable mistakes & failures over the years.

About the coach...Greg Bedard said it on YUP, F&M.

I'll take his word as an NFL beat guy vs. a lot of other heads. He's rock solid with info.

I think hes arrogant in a way, he thinks he can stick anybody in there and it will work.

But they got Revis. They got Browner. They have a good team;
Its the players who aren't performing. On paper, Bill did an excellent job putting this team together IMO.

And yes i too was shocked hearing Deveys credentials. He ******* sucks. But Bill obviously saw something there . I dont eem know .
All i know is this whole situation making me uncomfortable.

Yes, I think I can call it dumb to talk about a team having 3 points at one random point in the game when they eventually scored 20 points.

Well they went 11-5 without Brady. They routinely win games with Brady contributing little to nothing.

How many GMs are better than BB?

They did have 08 minus TB but imagine their record the past 3 years if he wasn't there? 3-4 wins per year? And Cassel proved to b a decent QB that could carry a team to some degree of success. I think his early reign was masterful, especially through 07; however the last few years have been underwhelming and even with the SB in 2011 I feel like TB has had to pick up way more slack than ever before and carry the team (to a fault) to success. I'm not saying he is garbage but I do feel he has fallen off on a GM side. Draft picks haven't been spectacular either. Coach wise he is the man, no doubt
