Packers Coaching staff been trying to play Clay at a new type of hybrid role for a year or 2 now... But I think they found the right one last night.

Any of yall pay attention to his positioning on defense past what Collinsworth had to say about it?

Can't wait to see what it looks like with Chip Kelly getting to look at last nights tape all week.

Honestly the Bears were so bad Mathews could have played SS and still wreaked havoc.

It will be interesting to see he how handles a better group of centers and guards trying to block him at the second level when playing ILB

Schotty killed Sanchez's career. Kid had talent to be solid, but when you're OC refuses to give you a chance and believe in you, you have no chance to survive. So many 3rd and longs that Schotty would concede with a stupid run play instead of letting Sanchez try and advance the ball.

And no right tackle.

Now and then they'd call a deep route that would take forever to develop and teams would just blitz over the right side and Sanchez would panic.

Is Evan Mathis back for PHI yet?

LIS I'm amped to see how it looks vs that Eagles O.  The move is essentially only in effect on running downs... Still I think this is an upgrade no matter what.

Clay has better instincts and is a better block shedder than any other LB on the team. Nick Perry is better vs the run than in rushing the passer.

On passing downs, Clay will stunt inside or outside... Won't likely be in too much more pass coverage than he already is.

Yep who was the RT for that debacle Wayne Hunter? Was an easy sack every time. Then they stripped Mark of his weapons and expected him to develop. Made no sense.

I hope he has a great game and gets back on track. Always been a fan of the kid.

I didn't like him when he destroyed PSU in the Rose Bowl and made me lose my original SN

but I feel like he got a raw deal in NY and hope he can resurrect his career with Chip

Mariota will be a better version of Kaep

He's definitely smarter than Kaep but his arm isn't near Kaep's. I'm 50/50 on Mariota. Leaning towards bust though. I don't see a vicious leader. I also think he's a system QB. Works with Oregon but won't work for most teams in the NFL.

I need to get a Sanchez jersey  trying to get my friend to sell me his Jets one for next to nothing but he won't budge.

Mathis is back tonight
My Redraft LG.

most qbs are system qbs if your drafting a qb and your not building around his skill set you already lost

u don't see that every dam team is playing the same nowadays anyway ? shotgun , fake the handoff, throw the ball or run ... is it just me ? Mariota's gonna fit in just fine ...

NFL looks like college football to me ... blah .....

Remember that time Rex Ryan tried to draft Russell Wilson in the 2nd round but Mike Tannenbaum overruled him and wouldn't let him bring in a QB because it'd look like he made a mistake drafting Sanchez? (Ignoring they'd traded for Tebow.)

Then he proceeded to draft Stephen Hill?

Think so. It got really bad when Hunter was there at least. They never gave this kid a chance to be successful. Took Edwards away, took Keller away, took the running game away.

It's kind of funny to me when people say "tank for who? or what?" like Idzik isn't sabotaging this season already.

Jets had by far the lowest salary cap in the league before Percy joined (they might still have the lowest) and somehow refused to sign any corners or receivers besides Decker.

They were in tank mode before the season started.

Now that ajiiiplatinum ajiiiplatinum is copy and pasting his nonsensical garbage in multiple general NFL threads and not just the Raider season thread, it's only a matter of time before the rest of ST realizes dude has the mental capacity of a child. It has nothing to do with his opinions, it's the way he utterly fails to present them, scrambling to connect dots that aren't there.

Carr, a rookie QB had his first outright horrible performance of the season, 9 games in. Bench him now.

Are you, zube and jumpman stalking me or what? LOL

If you dont like my opinion on a sport "opinion" thread/forum then put me on ignore.

Anyway since you dont want to hear the truth from me then listen to Charles Woodson call your boy out again for being a bad QB and bonehead.
