NFL Discussion Thread: Pats win SB XLIX. Offseason begins

I don't think Packers fans will be praising Randall Cobbs "I haven't proved myself yet to earn an extension" statement for being humble this time around. Ignoring how dumb it would be coming off a season with a broken leg. Now here we are.

Its hard not to get attached to these Packers WR's but i'm really torn on Cobb. We've transitioned seamlessly from Jennings, to Jones, and now to Adams. On one hand, I don't think Cobb is as replaceable as Jennings or Jones. He's a different kind of weapon, I think most would agree. On the other hand, there's a little trend of teams winning without amazing WR corps and putting more emphasis at other positions, specifically defense. When you have an elite QB as good as Rodgers, you have the luxury of producing with whatever WR steps on the field. That money could be allocated elsewhere.

I saw an article project Cobb being worth 9.9 million in this years market along with Maclin. My gut tells me he returns and the Packers give him around 8. 13-15 guaranteed like Jordy.

I cant believe Rodgers was one bonehead Brandon Bostik hero attempt away from another Super Bowl appearance.

It really was nothing but heart breaks for NFC bracket.

I'm sure Lions and Cowboys all felt they shoulda been there too. Crazy how easy Brady's path was compared to the NFC.

(He's still amazing, don't get me wrong).

NFC Wild Card, Lions @ Cowboys --> Referees mistake defines game

NFC Divisional Playoff Round, Cowboys @ Packers --> Referees mistake defines game

NFC Championship, Packers @ Seahawks --> Losing team's mistakes define game

Super Bowl, Seahawks vs. Patriots --> Losing team's mistakes define game

Hence my comment before regarding Joe and his 4 appearances versus Brady's six. I'm not sure which was harder or more impressive because the AFC has been pretty average for a long time. And the other 'elite' QB kinda sucks in the playoffs

Very distributing

I know this is an auto correct issue but it made me chuckle
