NFL Discussion Thread: Pats win SB XLIX. Offseason begins

I can't believe what I'm seein with SF. This is unreal.

And makes me wonder if it's true they are shopping Kap to free space, and try to grab extra assets to rebuild with.

New coach usually wants to build team his way.
Kap found out about the 49ers trying to trade him, & is now forcing their hand trade him. Kinda' like calling their bluff, as to why the 49ers are denying the rumors of said trade.

He has this clause on his contract: However, the incentives-laden contract also reportedly allows for the team to be able to cut him without penalty before April 1 of each year of the deal.

So if they needed cap space, no need to trade him when they can just cut him.

:wow: late to the party, but holy **** at what's going on in SF!

Willis was as dominant of a player that you could find who played under 10 years in the league. I think he's a sure-bet HOFer.

I wonder if he'll dabble in law enforcement? I know he's a CJ major and had expressed interest.

Also, ever since Jim Haslett was fired, there have been NO leaks coming out of ******** Park. This offseason has been 100% different than every other year under Dan Snyder. The Scot McLoughan effect >>>

We're gonna suck next year, but I'll trust what Scot has planned.

He said he wants to work with children. All the respect in the world for that.

I've comes to grips with Suh being gone and maybe Fairley. It was a no win situation with Suh either way.

I'll never come to grips with picking Eric Ebron over Aaron Donald though.

I wanted to punch a wall draft night and I want to kick a puppy now.

Suh will have the largest cap hit of any defensive tackle in football this year in Miami, and his ghost in Detroit will be fourth.

Yikes.

Those rookie deals in the old CBA were no joke.

Willis is retiring to spend time with his kids and family. Plans on doing community work too. His bad toe also helped his decision. Much respect to him.

Tebow, Tebow, Tebow. Just leave the game alone and be thankful you're being overpaid as an analyst because you're just as bad at that job.

I'll definitely take Graham on the Giants.

Report: Eagles OLB Brandon Graham prefers Dolphins, Titans; Giants could also get into the mix http://wp.me/p14QSB-9IXa

If the Dolphins get Graham :x :x :x :x
He could be Pro-Bowler fersure.

Wouldn't mind that... but with Jenkins, McCain, Misi, Jordan I don't see him as a need.

I wish Graham nothing but the best but I will never get over when Reid traded up and we all thought Earl Thomas was the pick then I hear Brandon Graham's name being called :x
