bunch of people beating each other up. easy pass.

Like Wrestling...? Or Football?

And that is thee most simplistic explanation of MMA (it's not called UFC, the Sport is called MMA = Mixed Martial Arts) I've ever heard.

I can respect you don't like it, I can't respect not understanding what you don't like or why.
wrestling isn't even real  the perfect wrestling match results in no one getting hurt.

So "bumps" aren't real?
They flying all over the place and landing on each other isn't real?

They still physically take a beating, and at the end of the day you're watching a "bunch of people beating each other up"... it's just fake.

Again... your logic makes no sense on this one man. Also doesn't address Football or MMA but that, at this stage, is way beside the point.

that's cool...
I personally don't like it because I find it boring .
I enjoy fighting irl once in awhile when I want to get my anger out but as a spectator sport that id follow like football or basketball. Nah.
. Violence has nothing to do with it for me on why I don't like it.

someone getting hurt on a bump is the equivalent of someone getting hurt on the football field, it's no ones mission to injure each other. in MMA your main goal is to incapacitate your opponent. dont understand why this is a hard concept to grasp on why i think mma is disgusting.

Wrestling is a form of VERY physical acting...

No one will ever deny the punishment they take, but it's not a sport, and frankly...I have no clue why it's even in this discussion

When I first saw the news about Borland I thought it was some bogus report from The Onion.

All this dude had to do was play another 2-3 seasons and he would have atleast had himself and his family set up nicely. I mean, cool....he stepped away before anything serious happened to him. But he's not some little slot receiver getting beat in the head every play across the middle of the field.

There has to be something more to this. A dude who's been playing his whole life and is on the verge of big things doesn't just quit the game in fear of concussions when he's never even had any concussion problems.

Nobody wants to play for Ron Jeremy on that team dudes are retiring left and right in Santa Clara

I'd rather pay the fine for not filling up enough cap space.

That fine goes to charity, I think right?

So basically instead of signing Trent Richardson you could instead help people in need. :nerd:

Pretty easy decision

he's been diagnosed with 2 growing up and feels he may have had 1 last season that was never diagnosed.

You can't seriously compare the fall of boxing to the NFL.

Let's just completely ignore all the other factors that have led to boxing's downfall.

Aren't you are ignoring all of the factors which have made the NFL a worse product in recent years? Or do you think the game is as good as it has ever been?
