I can't act like I don't have any other shoes to hoop in, but damn if it is December...

Exactly.

December now?

They gonna be dropping a colorway a week to catch up?

If the quality issue is corrected,I can see myself getting around 3 colorways (hopefully on discount). These look like they'd be good in the gym and in the weight room.

Should probably give my XX8 a break.

I still believe it's the eyelet issue...I can't see them taking that kind of hit on all the already assembled pairs putting new soles, pull tabs on the heel, shank plates just for the number that is not really super visible then also putting new eyelets on them, or just scrapping all those already made pairs.  I think the "fixed" pairs will just have better eyelets on them, more glue like everyone said.  It was reported by several that only certain batches had the eyelet issue, and none of the weartesters that have pairs have encountered that issue...yet.  So probably just send them all back for glue then ship them back out.  Just to fix the eyelets would take a couple months, so December makes sense to me.

Hopefully the managers or whoever were just misinformed about the 6 to 23. The number doesn't bother me at all. That wouldn't be smart on Nike's part to use the number as a cover for the eyelet issue simply for the fact that it would mean they now need to re-glue + re-tab/sole/shank plate. A tiny glue issue would turn into a shoe teardown with that cover story.

they could of just played off the whole "6" thing with 6+6=12 & it being the 12th shoe...idk I'm just sad we gotta potentially wait til December :\

could of sworn the real issue was they eyelet situation...maybe its both now

Isn't Lebron superstitious? Wouldn't be surprised if he made the request. And for those wanting a discount, wouldn't 3-4 releases on the same day kinda help especially if other stuff is releasing too? Speaking in terms of the 12's sitting.

Local mom and pops just called and said they're going to refund my deposit cause they just go the email from Nike that NSRL gotta go back :smh:

My connect St champs got an email from nike that said to hold them because they didnt know what they were doing with stock (at least champs) yet. Sure I can pry one off of him. I really want the red and white ones though. [emoji]128546[/emoji]

Not gonna lie, I am prolly gonna scoop those lifestyles. Not a bad shoe to wear if you are getting a little casual or a little dressy.

i hope we still get a release this month. I want a pair to hoop in.

I still find it ironic that the NSRL pair had to be recalled for bad glue/construction of the top eyelet. These are named after the Nike Sports Research Lab. I guess they didn't do the right research in picking the proper materials and manufacturing methods for this shoe. It's kinda embarrassing.
