THE STRAIN on FX -- from Guillermo Del Toro -- Sunday, July 13 at 10pm

Apparently that isn't Quinlan either as speculated by many. He was supposed to reveal his name to Gus but showrunners got in the way and changed his name to Vaun. We'll see Quinlan at some point in the season. The writing is extremely messy on this show.

Miss Marchant :smokin

palmer thinks he can get her to like his old, vampire balls. If she finds out about him and the vampires and still wants to stay then she deserves to die.

Speaking of the son, they recasted the role.
the other son was better.

The new kid has a stupid face that you want to hit.

Why didn't they just...put their hoods back on?

Surprised they don't have masks in case they would've had to run in the sunlight.

Wondering how a military force is not out in the streets wiping the vampires out. I guess vampires terrorizing and killing a city isn't a top priority. Cops can't handle this stuff. Also weird to see buses and trains running like everything is normal.

That's the biggest flaw with this show. People are carrying on with their day to day activities knowing that their is a plague that transforms people into monsters. As bad as the Walking Dead is, the writers weren't this stupid.

Real ****, there is a lot of people out there careless as **** like you can't get killed by anybody.

The writing on this show could definitely be improved, the source material leaves a lot to work with but you wouldn't even guess that from the way things have gone.

I mean even the toughest people would probably have second thoughts about being out at night with vampires who have tentacle tongues. Unless they about that tentacle life.

^i was expecting the SWAT vamps to have some Tony Stark technology to repel the UV ray

The build up was way too much for them to be taken out by disco lights in a minute

I was mad as hell. I expected to have them a bigger role on this season. It's prolly more of them.

The whole NYC being shut off to the rest of the country and Mayor trying to keep running **** while in denial is stupid but that surprising.

I mean humans still outnumber the vamps by millions. You add in ignorance, denial, and regular ol NYC arrogance I'm sure some ppl are chalking up an encounter with a vamp with getting mugged  :smh:

Hey we don't know what's going on in TWD NYC

They probably operating as usual with walkers roaming everywhere :smh:

If this was a movie the federal government would be ordering a nuclear bomb to be dropped on the city and the protagonist will be racing to fix everything and get the bombing called off.

That kid is terrible. Somebody needs to slap the **** out his mouth.

Anyone else feel this last episode was lackluster compared to the previous? Just felt boring to me.

The first episode had all kind of special effects when the vamps were getting killed. Lol. Slow motion and different angles and all.

Setrakian cooking up that White :wow:  :pimp:

Respect to Palmer being ready if the Master & Co. crossed that line :nthat:

This season has been bad thus far. The episodes have no flow and are poorly paced. I'm giving up.

I was semi interested last season, watched it all. Not sure if I wanna start season 2.

Not sure what the point of the beginning of last night's episode was. Unless Angel is going to use his wrestling skills to help Gus fight real vamps. The Indian girl and her mom were both fine.

I tuned in a few mins late and thought I was on the wrong channel or wrong night because of the wrestling scene

Absolutely no flow at all. The team became professional killers now though. Just chopping heads off with no fear. Interesting to see how they carry the virus out.

I saw Gus had a Mexican wrestler figurine in his apartment so it had me thinking he might might be a fan of the wrestling character. Definitely a weird lottle storyline.

I enjoyed season 1 and I truly enjoy Toro's work.

Where is season 2 at with respect to the books?

So true, the new Zach irks me. When he started breaking the stuff in the lab, I was hoping Eph back handed him.

That whole Angel thing was just weird. I thought he was Gus' gramps or something the way he was coming at him. He acted like he knew the kid. Come to find out he doesn't even know homie :smh:. Makes no sense to me.

Why are people still going out at night? That whole news camera reporting incident was just stupid. You couldn't convince me to leave my house to go to a meeting at night. It is one thing for them to be going on during the day like nothing is happening [the indian restaurant]
but going out at night? F that.

I still assumed he was related to angel either his pops or grandpa. Surprised the hell out of me finding out they didn't know each other.

One thing I'm noticing is that when they chop off heads or even shoot them, they aren't as worried about worm splatter like they were in season 1. Season 1 was all about not getting touched by the worms, now **** is splashing all over the place and nobody gives a damn.

I guess that girl Coco might like old balls. She seemed interested in knowing what that priest was telling palmer he might be finding soon. Would be funny if there was a swerve and she's working undercover or maybe for the other elder vampires to get that book. Episode was weak. Glad corey stoll isn't wearing that bad wig anymore.

Wish I would of never started watching this.

I swear I've half ***'d watched this 2nd season.

I'm completely lost.

I look up and see my mans lookin like Hitman.

TFIGO

Man. The doctor from the cdc is smashing women :pimp:

Last night was pretty good.
