OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

Still waiting on One owner for the NT league. By 10 a.m. pac (1 p.m. et) it will go on to the 1st alternate.

Man more I research how TE are looking in training camp..zach ertz is looking to be this years steal of the draft. Kelly looks to use him at slot/starting TE and i have a feeling he kills in the redzone as well

Just picked up Josh Gordon in my keeper league. He went undrafted so I figured might as well give it a shot. You guys think there is any chance his suspension gets lowered?

I'm weary on any Philadelphia receiver because I think our offense is going to spread the ball around plenty. For that reason, I don't think anybody is going to put up huge receiving yards or catches. I do think Ertz will be our primary redzone target and lead our team in TD's. He's definitely a good late round pick with a lot of potential.

I think there's a slight chance that Josh gets the suspension length reduced. Maybe like 25, 30%, but, I, personally, would've done the same thing as you by picking him up just in case; no risk && potentially high reward.

I dunno seems like McCoy x CJ is the move.

I own McCoy and Demaryius but my friend is a huge Eagles fan and has been wanting him for years so he's willing to swap Calvin and Rodgers for him to make them my keepers while he would have McCoy and Fitz left to keep as his.

So that's why I said I can only do McCoy and Demaryius, or Rodgers and Calvin.

stop putting so much stock into pre season.

all you should be watching in preseason is the type of offense these teams are running and how it'll effect the player you are looking at.

Zach Sudfeld was going to light the world on fire last year after preseason...

For keepers would you rather have McCoy and Demaryius, or Rodgers and Calvin?

We don't do it where you lose a certain round pick for a player.

I think DT can have just as a big a year as CJ. McCoy said he is aiming for 2000 yards this year... Doesn't mean he is going to get it but I do expect him to go OFF once again

Rodgers and Calvin. Easy choice as far as I'm concerned.

Well, that just wasn't a choice.

I say Rodgers and Calvin easy because not only are they the best in the NFL at their respective positions, but today's NFL is essentially geared towards TD tosses. You would have the best of the best and be a lock for tons of points.

The drawbacks of Demaryius is that even though he probably puts up great numbers, he's still in an offense that evenly distributes the ball to multiple players. It may not hinder DT all that much, but it's still somewhat a worry.

And I'm not big on RB's anymore. It used to be that you HAD to have a premiere running back. Not the case today. And for bias reasons, but also legitimate reasons, AP is really the only back I'm 100% on.

Today, we're all saying the top three are McCoy, AP and Charles. This changes every single year (AP the exception, but even after tearing his knee people were hesitant to go his way). Last year, coming into the draft, the top four must-haves included Arian Foster, Alfred Morris and Doug Martin. With injuries and such, which is common for RB's, it's hard to say one RB is going to remaing consistent with great production every single year. I'd just be cautious banking on Shady to stay healthy all season. You can also grab RB's on the waiver wire because there's always a handful of running backs that make a splash from coming out of nowhere to have big years.

Yea I ready it wrong before... In the case that none of those players go back into the draft pool, I probably would also go CJ and Rodgers.

Just got my draft order and I have the last pick in the first round (12), i've never drafted last in all of my years playing fantasy.  What do you guys think are good picks with 12 and 13?  RB WR, WR RB, WR WR??
What are the scoring settings?

In PPR i would go WR/WR unless Montee Ball falls to you

You guys are really on the Montee Ball wagon like that?

Ima let somebody else take a chance on him that early in my leagues....
