OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

How you feel about Michael Floyd this year, Champ? Seeing him go in like the 4th/5th rounds in mocks && even hearing talks of high end WR2upside, but wanted to get your take.
im seeing this alot myself and here is what i think:

he'll get looks and benefit from the teams doubling fitz. carson palmer is a capable qb who will throw the ball, considering their division they will be down and have to throw to get back into the game. i can see the upside in a standard league but i think he will be td dependent

So I know he's made of glass but how has Danny Amendola looked in camp? I figure he could be a great buy-low guy.
Don't mind him as a buy-low Flex option, but Danny doesn't grab TD. Healthy or not.

Rate my team bros. It's a 8 team league which I know y'all hate but it's all my college roommates so we prefer to keep it that way.

Picked up Josh Gordon from the free agents. If he comes back I'm throwing a party.
Stafford and Rivers are adequate, but in a two-QB start league you might have went that position slightly too late. My urgency amps up for a Rodgers, Peyton, or Brees. Even Luck, when it comes to two-QB start leagues. Sick RB's, you probably have the best combo even for 8 teams. Jeffery and Allen present upside, to build on their '13 seasons. I feel Jimmy might have been a slight blunder. I'm publicly outspoken against going TE too early. Wonder what QB's were available when your second-round selection came around. Reed is going to end up starting over Tate.

Felt I was ahead of the curve tooting Floyd's horn and buying him cheaply last season. Paying him to be a top-25 fantasy WR doesn't present the same appealing value. I'd honestly rather take my chances later in the draft on Terrance Williams, Nuk, Dobson, and Kendall Wright.

He essentially doubled his yards and TD output from '12 to '13. I just wonder if he's close to tapped out, even playing with Fitz. How much further can Floyd go? That division is a nightmare defensively. Playing Seattle's secondary twice. SF's overall defensive unit is no joke, and the Rams front four is nothing to scoff at either.

Funny story, I'm the commish/founder of my 16 team league, we've been doing this for 5 years now....

anyways we started doing an in-person lottery via drawing ping pong balls to determine the draft order 2 years ago, and finally this year it happened.... My ping pong ball lasted till the very end and I got blessed/cursed with the #1 pick....

I'm nervous to post the video up because there were 5 guys not present and I'm sure they will be calling shenanigans

Thanks fellas; valid points, indeed. I was kinda staying away in virtually every mock I've done unless he just fell to me in like the 5th or 6th (only took him once). Think I'll continue to do the same since WR has stupid depth this year...could go RB at his ADP && grab a Colston a couple rounds later.

Pretty good draft. I probably wouldn't have picked Graham. and gone for a top WR instead. That's the only spot on your roster that worries me.

I'm also hoping for a Josh Gordon suspension reduction haha. He's helped me out big time the last two years.

4th round?? In what size league? He definitely has some upside, but taking him that early is cray to me. I'd like him as my third WR

^ Around this time of year even if I go out and drink with my boys we'll just be arguing about fantasy the whole time anyway  .

Majority of my inner-circle are Cowboys and Giants supporters. My best bud from college is Washington, good amount of Jets fans I socialize with too. Point being, only support for Philly football comes from my brothers.
