The 9 launch is an exception rather than the norm. When else has Nike released the elite version before the regular version? A truer comparison should be the 8s and the sulfurs.

I wouldn't trust much of what he has to say unless if you are just a casual show up to the gym once a week or two and play pick up ball kind of guy

I think the Clutchfit Drive (which looks pretty damn good too) is still the way to go when going for UA bball shoes. And to be fair, Kobe 9 was one of the best bball shoes of 2014, up to you if the performance/quality to price ration works.

Thanks fellas, I was unaware I just assumed he hooped a lot lol.

But yes the Clutchfit Drive is amazing when comparing Lunar to Micro G. I wish I could have gotten my hands on a pair of the lows...

The 9s didn't seem too much of a step up from the 8s so I never copped a pair other than the Elite highs. If this ends up being the last sig Kobe actually plays in (sometime next season I'd assume) then let's hope they come out with some dope CWS.

hey man i wuda assumed the same thing had i not show up to a gym where he was and watched him play

he plays no d and jacks up 3s never heard of a mid range

also hes a set shooter lol ( and no he is not like steph when it comes to creating space)
 
I think the tweet misspoke/typed, the blue lagoons are not the elite version.  OR maybe a surprise is in order

I have to agree, never understood reviews by non basketball players. I prefer Kick Genius and Foamer Simpson personally. They let you know what they personally like to play in based on their styles, size, and past preference. NIghtwing just hits you with general reviews . Lmao that dude plays no d and spots up, hows he testing that traction :smh:

Hearing the UA Curry bottoms out quicker than Lunar so there does your go to UA theory. Kobe 9 was trash too unless your at least lighter than 180 and don't mind your heel to toe transition feels like a Lugz boot and don't mind heel spurs from the lack of impact protection. Or maybe theres no impact when your wearing these with jeans to a pep rally.. But hey thats me

The Curry's don't have micro g right? They have some charged foam or something I believe.

But yeah I have no idea what that latest thing for Kobe X is haha, getting crazy and not making any sense.

:lol: I remember the vid Kickgenius posted when they got to visit MJs house for the XX9s and they said it was an eye opener and don't be fooled by these "testers" after seeing them play. One of the funniest part of the vid.
