Kobe X Official Thread Elite Series ‘Elite Team’ April 18th, ‘Elevate’ May 15th, ‘Rose Gold’ June 5

I think the length on this shoe is kind of a problem. Seems like they keep making them longer and longer each year. Probably too narrow to go half size down but its tough with that length for containment. Gonna try half size down and see how that goes. TTS isn't that bad though just looking to see if I can get a better fit lol.

Decided on getting the ASG over 5 ams. Figured there won't be much time left to get the ASGs and I'm sure there will be tons of dope colorways to come out in the future

Whats the deal with finish line not selling nike kobes but they sell adidas kobes and many other nike signature athletes shoes............
It was never explained why, but it started with the ZKII, and that's how it's been since with a few exceptions. The ZKII was pushed as a FTL exclusive among the major mall retailers and it continued that way til the V and VI stated trickling into FTA and champs etc.

Yea that's a real shame, I was at a mall the other day and the only two stores they had were Finishline and a Champs, and not even the Champs had anything of Kobe, all Lebron and Jordan.

I was about to cop the ASG but then i saw them in person and..... they were just the same as pics. Ive liked the 5am joints since the first look and was hoping these would grow on me but they didnt. Different stroke for different folks.

Feel the same way regarding the ASG. I was considering copping because they were and still are sitting everywhere, but I know I have a feeling about them for a reason...it's that darn "coating" on the medial portion of the shoe.

The more I look at the Blue Lagoons, Blackouts, and Vinos, I come to the same conclusion:

There is absolutely NOTHING about these shoes that scream $180. The V,VI, and VIII all looked much better and had more detail and were at least $40 less. Nike out here pimping folks.

That's how I feel about all of the Nike basketball shoes besides the Kyrie 1. Then every time they put out a nice colorway, they want to add a "premium" price.

All the Kobes I own have extravagant colors: Chaos 5, Area 72 8s, Prelude 8s, MC and MM Flyknit lows. It is really hard to justify buying these plain colorways.

Really does not make any sense at all when there are much smaller retailers that carry them..

Just from looking at them and hearing people' s opinions it sounds like performance-wise these are a heavier version of the 6's?
