damn sucks the lace lock broke. i remember these were my regular "street ball" shoes back during the OGs. when it was time to get serious you laced em up tight so they were putting a lot of pressure on the lace holder but never broke. wouldnt be surprised due to the deteriorating nike quality.

by today's standards these are heavy and bulky, but back in the mid to late 90s, these were a norm to use as bball shoes. only us old timers in the 30s might be able to put up playing with this simply due to nostalgia of playing with them during our "younger days" but you young cats prob wouldnt want to play ball in these

Haha that's exactly what happened. I had these laced up so tight to play in. It was for a 3 on 3 tournament and my teammates were all making fun of me saying how heavy these were gonna be to play in. Never had them as a kid but I remember my buddy had them on my AAU team. I have another pair I got on a restock that are still DS so I am not too worried about the lace lock breaking. I still played in them all weekend and I could still lace them up tight enough.

what he said... a warranty is a warranty, regardless of where you purchased. you will get your full retail value back on a gift card once processed, and theres no reason why this would be turned down.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be the 20th, Footlocker just put it on their release calendar(I'm aware of the possibility of them just dropping out of nowhere like the other two).  It's also on Eastbay's calendar for the 20th.

Finally got these in today at my location and the quality is great... If i remember in the am will take a few pics and Nike keeps changing the date but as of now July 20th is confirmed

the olympic pair will hopefully be my first pair... these shoes seem really bulky and uncomfy from the looks of it tho... am i wrong?
 
I've been buying 9.5 in Jordans and 10 in pretty much everything else including Atlantic Penny 2s, what should I shoot for in these?
