Gone Girl - starring Ben Affleck directed by David Fincher 10/03/2014

Man I liked the ending, everything doesn't have to be explained. Having you fill in the blanks imagining the subdued horror he's going to go through is great, and keeps that suspense going more so than an explanation does.

People just wanted a happier outcome because most of nt are guys and didn't like seeing a male character trapped like that.

Changes how you look (more swollen, certain facial features are diminished with swelling, etc).
I thought she did that to establish marks of a 'battered wife,' so that when she killed herself the autopsy would prove prior abuse...I could be tripping though

Just finished it ten seconds ago. Started off real slow and I wondered what the hype was about but when it started to swerve...... Man crazy stuff. Wanted her to die though

I was watching it with the Marky Mark face in The Happening the whole time..

..Then hit it with the Alonzo morning.gif in the end.

Movie is too real. I can actually see it done in real life just the fact I have met crazy girls before

Just finished this movie.

I need to contact all my ex-girlfriends I ever called crazy and apologize

Ole girl took lunatic yambs to a new level :x

Just watched GG over the weekend. I STILL can't figure out whether or not I liked the movie or not. For the last 30 minutes, I kept telling my wife "I can't wait to see how this all unfolds." There was a CRAZY buildup. And then the movie was over. I haven't felt this way about an ending since the last episode of the Sopranos. I'll give a 6.5/10, but the fact I'm still thinking about the movie 2 days after seeing it, says something...

That's probably what sets this film apart.  Leaving the door open for part 2 and giving the audience something to think and talk about.

May sound harsh, but the movie had the pacing/feel of something you'd see on the Lifetime network.

Part 2? No thanks. Not trying to see an Affleck version of Trapped in the Closet

*Out of curiosity, is there a part two (book)?

Have a journal
Wine bottlea
Box cutters

Affleck took more losses than this season lakers/tampabay/cubs

Upon watching this film, I would like to apologize to every ex-girlfriend I ever offended or scorned.

No there is no book sequel as of now.

Do not know if Flynn plans to write one.

Flynn was reportedly open to the sequel suggestion, but hasn't offered confirmation.

A part two movie is a foregone conclusion, whether Flynn writes another book or not. Enough wiggle room in the ending for a cliffhanger, generated good box office numbers, and wide acclaim in the film community.
