He is soft. Just because he grew up with some shady characters as a kid in the hood don't mean much and it's safe to say he has changed into a completely different person today. Was Common out there catching bodies and cases? You aint tough by association. A rough upbringing doesn't equal him being a rugged tough guy either.. you could grow up in a pampered enviornment and still turn out the exact opposite.
The man Common is today, he aint bout that life nor should he be. He's 40 years old and has made a ton of money off acting and music.
The men they both are today aren't "tough guys" by any means.
