Murder still plausible course of action for angry White men.

White kid rebelling against parents to participate in the extremes (stereotypical) of black culture to parents chigrin.

White women preferring the stereotype of black sex to their inadequate white partners.

It's no different than Mel Brooks having Madelien Kahn lust after Cleveland little, or the Chappelle skit 'trading spaces.' This is not new, it's classic in comedy, those were literally after thirty seconds of thought, you want other examples let me know.

That's it. You don't find it funny, I don't care, I do.

The whole outrage over this is straight bs. Chappelle, Key and Peele, Richard Pryor etc. had jokes like this 'stereotypical black culture is preferred by white youths' , but in 2014 you gotta be outraged.

The comparison to comedians is really stupid

Before, folks got their stereotypes about blacks from the news and tv shows (people that don't interact with blacks on the regular)....now it's social media and it's always something negative that's on fire on twitter or Facebook....

It's a cheap laugh...I get it but I'm looking at the bigger picture....it's not even white people that's fueling this ****...it's blacks and that's what makes it so pathetic ....you see no other race clowning themselves off pathetic stereotypes to the point it's trending on twitter

We can agree to disagree but don't put yourself on some platform like you're some upstanding negro. You're one when it's convenient

....but I found those funny. I dunno, maybe these Daquan memes aren't as well put together or thought out as the examples you posted.

Meh.

It's not funny when a white child rebels against their parent to hang or get impregnated by the drug dealing felon wannabe rapper black guy.

But do your thing.

my question is about the house ***** topic:

a "house *****" is a product ofand instrument of an institution meant to divide, enslave and break

so why do we still in this day age identify, promote and persecute this adverse line of thinking.

now im not sayin there arent folks out there living up to the stereotype, but to me it seems like just continuing the same mental bonds

Yea, they were wayy better put together. But the sentiment is the same.

My mans names was Leroy Jenkins...he smoked newports and was angry the white family didn't used washed clothes.

I mean, it just proves the point from earlier, people are selective, which is why I don't particularly care about half the things black folk complain about, it's so flimsy and hypocritical. 'hey, Chappelle spends years putting stereotypes on tv as satire, but some dude makes a meme WITH THE EXACT SAME SENTIMENT despite it not being as well put together, its the most racists meme ever. ' white dudes at frat houses were quoting Chappelle just as much as they quote this...and don't get me started on Seth Macfarland and his race humor.

Complain that the joke wasn't put together well, but don't complain about how 'racists' it is, both are equally as racists Chappelle made a black pixie with big red lips telling a dude to get the chicken, Pryor played in a movie where he was bought by a white kid as a toy, key and peele wrote a joke about being sold at auction...where were y'all cats then? But some random meme got y'all upset...pull your damn skirts down and use that energy on something that matters, prison and education.

This is funny to some, I think Nathan For You is a dumbass show, but I'm not getting mad about it, not saying 'shows like that promote that dumbass awkward comedy leaving real comedians out of the fold' instead, do you and imma keep telling the jokes I like, not that serious.

We're talking about two totally different things...you're rambling like an alcoholic

So much more I could say about your depressed *** but I ain't getting banned over it

Meh.

Its because its a meme. They're typically not well thought out, and made hastily by random people.

Some of them are funny to me because I know people like the ones in the pics. The white people and the "Daquans".

I never saw it as "clowning our race", I see it as making fun of stereotypes that some people fit into. Truthfully its been done to death for years. From the rebellious white kid to the Daquan.

The division is the point. Turning people against their own is a great way to maintain control over them.

Please...please tell me how this skit is different from the meme (outside of production value). I'm serious. tell me how this isn't the Daquan meme, on tv, about six years ago.

Hell, Chapelle threw in some white stereotypes for good measure.

To be honest I've only watched one chapelle show and that was like a year ago...

My question is who else on social media constantly trends negative stereotypes about their race like African Americans?

Well good, you're in for a damn treat, Chapelle show may have been one of the funniest sketch shows on tv. Watch the clip and point out the differences if I'm so wrong. Or shucking and jiving or Sambo or anything of that...point by point tell me whats the difference. I'm reading, if you make a good point I'll let you know.

From Flip Wilson in a dress, to Key and Peele being upset they weren't picked at a slave auction, it's satire, it's funny, maybe not to you, but it doesn't make you "less black" or anything but a dude that likes to laugh.

No doubt...I never not watched it on some taking a stand thing...I just missed it when it originally aired and never got around to downloading it or copping it on DVD

I have no problem with that type of comedy but I can't compare it to the **** that goes down on social media

Also on an earlier post I shouldn't have used house ***** ...didn't think that one through and I hardly go back and read what I post when I'm on mobile

Never got that either  it kinda comes with the active embracing of negative stereotypes by some people though.

had to get away from social media man. **** is poison.

i had asked in the fools wilding thread but i guess ill ask here too:

is it white or black ppl who made up the dequan meme?

or was it like one made up it up and the other ran with it?

On July 2nd, 2014, Twitter user @RealRaymondJ[7] posted a tweet featuring a stock photograph of a young girl making a dismissive hand gesture to her mother with the caption “Mom I don’t want a David, I want a Daquan” (shown below). In the first week, the tweet gained over 14,500 retweets and 11,000 favorites.

Ahhh....classic racism! I love it.

You know how you kill Hitler? Making fun of him ~ Charlie Chaplin

it make a lot of sense now seeing that

so dude made it up first, "bragging" about becky

5 days later, someone makes up a twitter (probably a ____ person) and makes like a million more memes going in on black people in defense

I'm sorry, bruh, but just because some extremely intelligent and funny people were able to approach a concept in an interesting way doesn't mean that everyone who thinks their doing the same is actually accomplishing that.

The more I watch those videos, and the more I look at this Daquan meme, the bigger the difference appears to be.

It's not that I'm getting offended by Daquan because I don't know who did it, and I'm laughing that the above videos because I know those people.

I feel offended by Daquan because of how "easy" and "hacky" it is. The concept of low hanging fruit and the hack in comedy is a long-standing one, and this meme only adds to the legacy in my eyes.

If it were done in a smarter way, then I would probably find it funny.
