Do you give bums money when they ask for it?

I remember me and my girl were out celebrating our "Anniversary"... this took place in the Winter.

We had reservations to some '5 star' restaurant out here in Vegas. While in route to a gas station, we noticed across the parking lot, there is this homeless man taking off his jacket and blanket and wrapping it around his dog because it was freezing.

Anyway, a few minutes past by filling up my tank, we leave off and notice the homeless man sleeping in a fetal position, while his dog is cuddled up inside the blanket with it's head sticking out and laying by the man's neck.

Me and my girl looked at each other and automatically knew what we were both thinking. It just didn't seem right that we just witnessed something like that while we were off to a 5 star restaurant, heated up in our nice car.

So we make a U-turn, my girl goes into the Wal-Greens and buys food, XL jacket, and 2 thick blankets. While I went back into the gas station and bought Hot Cocoa. After that, we cross the street into the parking lot and approached the man and his dog. Anyway this man started tearing and kept saying Thank you, God bless! And his little dog was wagging it's tail, trying to lick our face.

From there on out, me and my girl felt so generous that we completely crossed out our plans for the night and went to Wal-Mart and bought a whole bunch of food and blankets and went out to find homeless people and gave it to them.

Probably our most special and memorable Anniversaries.

Not sure if their homeless or not but those "showtime" dancing jabronis on the A train. I would pay them to stop doing what they do. I don't care much for a bunch of dancing you got served rejects.
I hate those dudes. Dancing in front of me and looking for daps, nah b

The white people on the train who must not see it much be really excited though and be giving them like $5

Gave a guy 2 bucks when I left cvs....claimed he just got outta jail and wanted a sandwhich

Few months back another guy on the same side of town claimed the same but said he needed a ride down the street to an interview. I declined cause I'm not letting a stranger in my car. He was pissed but I didn't give a ****

Now THAT'S wifey material.

NOPE.

I gave one a ten dollar bill once and had the balls to ask for more. He followed me all the way inside the restaurant after I told him to leave me alone, begging like a worthless piece of ****.

The second time.. :smh: :smh:

The second time I was pumping gas when this piece of **** came up to me begging me for money . He kept going on about he needed money to get back home and how he worked the oilfields and was just in a rough spot.. so i was like ( and this was stupid of me ) " Ok I'll give you 10 dollars if you go inside and break this 20 , with the remaining 10 in two five dollar bills" .

I'm outside waiting for him to come back and..

Dude comes back talking about how he lost a five dollar bill.:smh: :x I was like whatever... it's cool

Then he proceeds to make conversation with me about my truck and ask what had happened to the driver side door.
No joke , mid way through my explanation, this tool decides to RUN across the street the other gas station to beg. Dude straight up DIPPED me

Ever since then I vowed not to give another homeless person a penny.

Met a guy at a gas station and chopped it up with him he told me his story and asked if I could get him somethin to eat to hold him over so I was like yeah I got you brah I told him get $10 worth of food and he was real grateful but didn't take my offer and only got a hot dog and honey bun.. Dude was cool and didn't ask for anything unnecessary unlike some of the other homeless I meet. I hope he's doin better :pimp: :pimp:

I do give it sometimes but lately I haven't cause I swear I see certain bums at the same spot everyday and something jabot it doesn't seem genuine.

Last time I gave some money was a woman with a baby. How could you not.

Props and repped

Gotta love the junkies that set up shop outside BANKS. This one chick that I'd bet my left nut on buys crack with the money just chills outside a Chase on my block and people actually giver her cash.

I find myself only giving money to people playing real instruments these days because I actually enjoy the music most times and appreciate the effort.

I gave a lady $20 once cause she made it seem like she'd just relocated and hadn't started and had her daughter with her. Felt like a sucker afterwards.

People here in Houston are hard core with the panhandling. I've seen people posted up on the corner holding up signs with their children sitting around in the area :smh:

I once gathered all the change in my car into a small bag and dropped at some homeless people as I drove by.

A few cats are on their grind tho, they'll post up downtown or any area where parking is a pain, and let you know what the best and worst places to park are and even spot you while parking.

Usually not gotta keep it moving but when I ever I get McDonalds breakfast on my way home after a late night out I cop 2x and give to the guy in my neighborhood. Drugs or disease have ruined his mind and I see him everyday no problem helping him out. He's always extra gracious for a couple of mcgriddles and some orange juice.

I've bought some of em mcdonalds or something after work, most of the time i offer food over cash. Most of the time i'll ignore em though. The worst are the guys with newspaper and windex

No.

I once gave this homeless dude $1, found out he has his own apartment, girlfriend, and cellphone. Homie ain't a homeless, but sure is a bum.

Went down to SD for my girl's bday, gave this homeless man some expensive *** dessert, hot cheetos, water, and other 711 food...He asked, "is it fish? chicken or fish?"
The nerve. What happened to beggars aren't choosers? Asked him if he wanted it or not, he said "yeah I'll take it" :smh:.

I work hard for my money, maybe they should too. However, @HAWAII 5O your story is :pimp:.
