For those of you who are still looking down on the "don't resist" response, please give us the alternative option and also include how it'd benefit somebody or people as a whole.
I really feel like y'all avoiding this question because you deep down know that as subjective the option to just give in to police is, y'all aren't willing to die to start a revolution. y'all want to be the colonels and send out some flunkies to die so you can use their death to recruit more people to die for the cause. imma keep calling this tough talk until y'all give me some proof you punched a cop and it benefitted you.

Yo it's a very weird thing that happens when people resist.
People take notice, just like the internet went wild with these vids the people in the street see something wrong too. It's about bringing awareness to a police state.
A few get sacrificed but you hope it's for the better of the collective, but with your complacent mentality ain't nothing happening.

people take notice and more than a few get sacrificed. it's been videos of people getting beaten by police for many years...this isn't a new concept
whose complacent? apparently you hopped in this thread's last page and started posting. we were discussing preventative actions just a few posts above where you started posting. don't waltz in here with your head held high complaining about our solution without giving our a better one.

black kids in Chicago kill more black people than the police do..... how about we stop that first

As a whole, I think what's holding back a potential revolution or riots in general is that people have just enough. They don't get treated how they should or have what they should but they get just enough tablescraps to shut them them up.
The Arab Spring revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia were able to overthrow the people in charge because of what they had to lose. Failure wasn't an option for them.
Alot of Americans are comfortable and accept the inconviences they deal with.
Maybe it could happen though, the Rodney King verdict lit the fuse for the LA riots but it was a ton of prior tension and hostility in regards to police and community relations prior to that but that verdict was what pushed things over the top.

Very true.
I'm not ready to die over a simple confrontation with a cop though. Completely different things to me.
If I'm getting wailed on I'm fighting no questions asked. The only way I could see that happening though is getting stopped by a dickhead cop who was looking to start ****. No way in hell I'd escalate a situation with a cop on my own. No yelling, no arguing, no sudden movements, nothing.
I won't resist arrest but I will resist assault. No other way to put it.

My solution is resistance, you don't understand the concept of resistance that's not my fault, stop saying the same god dam thing about how you want solutions but don't want to hear what I'm saying. You want to hear goodjob for your camera idea? Goodjob dude.
Resistance=\=resisting arrest just so you can move on. But it is the ONLY option for someone standing on the street getting their rights violated, we need to use that as a catalyst.

There's multiple ways to resist. Some are peaceful and some aren't.
Resistance could be continuing to film cops to bring attention to this, like I said.
Or it could be killing them and their loved ones like Mr Marcus said.
