The players really dropped the ball today. Consistently playing the high long ball against a team much taller than them in winds of 32kmph. United should have played shorter passes on the ground to expose weaknesses.

It's like they came with one game plan and didn't bother to consider needing a second one.

that and Utd had a pretty poor passing game, especially in the first half...
also not enough clear-cut chances was created in the final third...

Stoke hustled though,i guess they're known for that...

Southampton is an amazing story considering they were having a yard sale a few months ago....
and look at how liverpool turned out.  i love to see them finish top 4.  though Clyne and Schneiderlin are exactly what we need, a fit rb and the perfect replacement for carrick.

Wow....Southampton...wow...

I thought they were done after their easy run of fixtures but they're really coming to the party

He clearly wasn't joking around...

The teams meet at St Mary's on Thursday and, when asked if Southampton could end the season higher than the Gunners, Koeman said: "I think so."

When you look at it...

Adam Lallana, Luke Shaw and Dejan Lovren were all sold, which were key 90min men, and they've not only managed to keep their shape, they look like they've improved. If they buy right next summer, they could build a sustainable squad for consistent competitive top spots.
