Ronny and Quaresma obviously went to the same barber  :smh:

Good game, Portugal controlled it - but God damn, we should have more goals scored in games like these. Two defenders scored for us :\

Portugal looked pretty lackluster, especially in that first half, maybe Santos not being on the bench had something to do with it. We need some more youth like Rafa and Lopes in there.

Just saw that Chicharito has played more minutes for the Mexican NT than Real this year

So frustrating watching Portugal

Chicharito has been quoted saying he's unhappy with his current situation, for two years now. I feel him though.

At the time of his transfer/loan deal it seemed like a great idea, being the back-up to Benz and hopeful on getting some great playing time. It's a shame it hasn't been that way.

At times throughout the season we have been up 3-1, 3-2 for example, and instead of subbing Benzema off and giving Chicha some burn or running a 4-4-2 with Benz/Chicha up front, Carlo subs in Jese.

Jese has been awful this season after coming back from his injury, he was phenomenal before and one of my favorites to watch. I just don't get Carlo sometimes.

I was watching the Mexico/Ecuador friendly this weekend and noticed Chicha has improved a bit on his dribbling and movement with the ball, granted it was just a friendly and against an Ecuador side (no offense to any Ecuador fans, lol) but he looked great, shows how great our staff is with player development. :pimp: :nerd: in before a Bale joke.

His goal he had wasn't too shabby either.

Hope it all works out for my guy and he finds a good club that gives him the playing time he deserves, whether it's at the Bernabeu or wherever.

I don't understand why Javier isn't catching on at United or Real. Even as to spell the "starting" players up front to help them from getting too fatigued.

I definitely thought chicharito would have developed at Madrid. But like everybody else is saying, that has not been the case. Actually maybe through practice sessions he has but no match experience still holds him down. Then again I have not seen every game he has played in but he hasn't been a changing factor in the game. But to be a regular at Madrid you have to be one of the best in the world. Correct me if I'm wrong but individually the players on Madrid can hold their own and create their chances.

I'm surprised as well that Chicha hasn't gotten more playing time at Real,I hope he get's to find a team willing to give him first team minutes this summer. Shame he couldn't catch on at OT,he probably could've been a good contributor this season.

In other news,Falcao scored again today to become Colombia's all time scorer

. Hopefully his form during the intl' break offers him a good confidence boost.

What did Chicharito expect tho? He was barely playing for United so all of a sudden he was going to get more time at Real?

He's their plan C, always has been. I'm still convinced Real brought him on to sell more kits. He was never a permanent solution, he's on the most competitive XI in the world.
