I'm interested in what Arsenal are going to do with Ozil.

Wenger doesn't seem like the type of dude who pays top price for Ozil, but keeps him if he just continues to underperform. He'd want some of that money back. Wonder which team would be in the market tho.

After watching Real Madrid today, a few observations. James needs to dictate more on the pitch; he definitely needs to be the connection in the last quarter of the field. As far as Madrid goes, the intensity is there when CR7 shifts gears and only then have they looked dangerous. Today against Basel, Modric had more freedom and provided up front but he can't do that against bigger teams because they'll make them pay. Nice to see Nacho as he seems to be a bit more solid than Arbeloa. Marcelo is a revolving door. I like to see him attack but he often fails to go back, which is a huge no no. You'd think the back 4 would fare better considering they've been playing together for a lot of years now...
Nacho is at least a year away from playing giants, despite the ineptitude of Arbeloa and Carvajal. Isn't he more comfortable centrally anyway?

The Carlos Tevez show
Nice, did he just try a Crouch after his 2nd.

I'd say maybe to Gala or to a Bundes team, both for obvious reasons.

@ChampCruThik  For someone who isn't a natural RB, he does a good job filling in. Arbeloa doesn't have enough skill to attack and doesn't have enough speed to go back and make up for it. I like Carvajal; he's intense and brings character but with Pepe and Ramos we need someone with a cold head in the back four. Which is why it's nice to see Varane.

Carvajal is way too loose with the ball, against Sevilla, among other important fixtures. Sociedad exploited the left-side of the pitch attacking in their upset victory.

As a last resort, I'm not opposed to Pepe and Varane centrally. Sliding Ramos out to RB, his natural position where he thrived for numerous years. Coentrao/Marcelo sharing the LB position.

I would like to see Ramos at RB as well but I highly doubt it will happen. The only reason I want to stick with Carvajal is that he is young enough to learn and should be on the pitch. Arbeloa on the other hand is a lost case. He can't even cross but when he does, no one is there

I honestly would prefer to see Coentrao play against strong sides instead of Marcelo. It's like he has no hurry to go back and help during a counter. Was really impressed to see James run back and intercept that ball during the first half.

Going to be in NYC for a day this weekend. I think my bus will leave me in or around Time Square. Any bars in the area worth catching a few games at?

Ozil is probably gonna end up at Dortmund or Schalke if he keeps going on like this

At the same time it might time to start easing Arsene to the door :nerd:

Which one is better? Probably roll down there with my man u kit. And the ladies gotta be 10's!
Nevada Smiths is a subway ride to East Village, better option by a moderate margin. Legends is right in Midtown.

You won't have trouble finding beautiful, diverse women in NYC at any time of day.

Old man Tevez still got it :pimp:

Speaking of Mkhitryan Dortmund could of won the German Polkal last season if he could of finished a few great chances. His playmaking is still appreciated tho.

Can't wait for this City v. Bayern Munich game tmrw. I'm super nervous and hope they don't pull an Arsenal. Hope Mangala gets his start tmrw too.

Dortmund and Shalke will never pay what Arsene would want. Maybe some Russian team? PSG? (remember PSG paid 50 million euros for David Luiz, I seriously still can't believe that)

Ozil smh

dude KILLED when he first got to arsenal..wtf has happened since then?

He had those types of games at Real, where he been missing and flat out lazy. But they def didn't happen as often and for this long.

One of the reasons is he's playing at LM/RM sometimes, because Arsenal is sort of stacked with attacking midfielders so he can't play his natural 10 role. But regardless, doesn't explain why he's so flat for so long.

Can any Arsenal fan tell me the last time he had a good game?

Mes I miss less than ADM. Ozil plays uninspiring football at times, and his work-rate is questionable in terms of consistency. He'll go a stretch of matches without creative influence, yet lacks the engine to compensate.

Ozil WILL pick it up. I truly believe it. He has too much quality for him to continue to being this sub par version of himself. He will never have the workrate that everyone wishes he had, but he still is pure class technically and he will re discover his deadly final ball sooner than later. My main gripe still is that Arsene continues to play him out of position. Put him in the #10, push Ramsey farther down into a double pivot with Arteta. Drop Wilshere for Ox or Santi on the wing.
