Think Enrique got his team selection wrong today. Why did he play Mathieu at LB? Should have started with Alba and kept Pique on the bench where he belongs. Even Xavi shouldn't have started.

As for Arsenal, I don't even wanna imagine where we'd be without Alexis Sanchez. What a player!

Dortmund wore their champions league home kits thinking it'd help them win some games in the Bundesliga.....

Nope, they still lost today. They're in 14th place.

EEEEEeeeeeEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeh

Que te dije?

Que se hiban a planchar al barca.

Mi prediccion era 4-1, pero 3-1 no esta nada mal!

Dortmund is in such a bizarre spot right now, they've won their CL matches, but can't win in the bundesliga :smh:

Don't know why dudes act like pique was ever good. Dude's been buns since the beginning. The truth was just masked since he was playing alongside puyol and Ramos for club and country. It was evident when he was at Zaragoza

They're so crap domestically. Obviously not having Lewa is a big change but still :smh:

Football is most popular (mostly amongst black population), rugby and cricket most popular (and most invested in) amongst the middle class and wealthy (white, and quite a few black folk have started following both particularly in the Eastern Cape)...

I can see the first half of Classico will be followed in this thread smh

Damn Currie Cup Final smh

Oh alright, thanks for elaborating. It has to be one of the rare countries in Africa where it's like that. Everywhere I've been, mostly in East and West Africa, football's been king in all aspects. So there's not that much investment in football? What impact would you say the WC a few years ago had on the sports popularity around the country?

I feel you, can't find the match anywhere on TV here either :smh:

Yeah man, most African countries, footy is king.

The investment has been much smaller compared to rugby and cricket, but like I said before, ABSA (division of Barclay's) has become the PSL sponsor, and investment has gone into teams like Sundowns and SuperSport United, making it more of a 3-4 horse race instead of the usual Chiefs and Pirates race.

The WC didn't really have an impact on footy popularity. We were just saying a few hours ago, what's messed up, is that at a pub in a middle-class to wealthy area, won't even play local football on tv. It's EPL or CL ONLY. Not even the local derby will get love. :smh:

Lewa leaving was one problem, BVB's injuries was their real issue....

True but like Arsenal they have a history of injury problems, they've usually been able to grind through.
It's good to see Gundogan back tho
Speaking of injuries, Gibbs picked up a hip injury and Arteta picked up a thigh injury.

Timbers playing their hearts out to have a chance of survival. Nagbe gotta get 1 of these shots on target.
