Great weekend of football.  Of the games i watched (all epl)

Chelsea just going about their business.  Huddlestone's red card was deserved.  Dirty challenge

City held on.  No Aguero and Dzeko getting hurt in warm ups....just get the win and get out of there job done

David De Gea....i don't think anything else needs to be said.  Sterling up top was interesting and he created a good amount of chances.

CL Draw

Poor city

.  No Aguero...don't see them getting through (yes im stating the obvious)

Will be interested to see PSG vs Chelsea.  Expect Chelsea to win though

Hope Real handle their business and get through

i thought aguero will be back before the next round? not till Feb, no?

I'm not so big on this idea (aside from my United bias) I think young talents like that need to goto a club where he get the best development and most minutes. I know he's just training with them and just gaining exposure and experience, but I really hope that he ends up a club where he can really develop and ensure that he gets solid minutes.

I pray he doesn't end up at a superpower like Bayern/PSG/Citeh etc from day one...

I didn't get a chance to respond to this until now but I have to disagree with you here to a certain extent. I agree with the big club part but only the clubs that don't have a strong youth program that has proven results.

Bayern would be a great club for the kid to go to. The Bavarian giants have turned out the likes of Philipp Lahm, Holger Badstuber, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Toni Kroos, David Alaba, & Thomas Muller who are first team regulars.

The Bayern youth academy also can boast the likes of Mats Hummels, Owen Hargreaves, Paolo Guerrero, Zvjezdan Misimovic, Deniz Yilmaz, Thomas Hitzlsperger, Stefan Wessels, David Jarolim, Piotr Trochowski, Alou Diarra, & Samuel Kuffour who have either come from their academy or kick started their careers there.

They also happen to have a phenomenal first team coach who has proven to be able to grow young players... :smokin

Only a handful of European clubs have produced these results.

Indeed you're right Bayern has nurtured youth to become some of the best players of the world. I simply threw their name out of the top of my head cause I was automatically thinking of him fighting for his place (ala Scott Sinclairs of the world- but I'lll say right now it's a completely different kettle of fish talent wise).

I don't know, maybe I'm just weary watching a great young talent and scared that he'll be let down by poor agent/management decisions or that he could completely fall off the face of the earth ala Bojan...

Arsenal vs Monaco  (And the football gods shine on Arsene Wenger once again! (He'll just never leave)

Porto vs Basel :pimp:

PSG vs Chelsea :x :smh: (that's BAD NEWS for both teams)

City vs Barca :smokin (the battle of the number 2's)

Pretty good stuff, going to be fun.

PSG gonna provide us some problems, not the team I wanted to play in this round. We barely squeaked by them last season I don't know if it will happen again :frown:

Got by last year with no strikers and a MF featuring Luiz, Ramires, and Lampard.
It obviously wasn't the easiest matchup, but think Matic/Fabregas can really dominate this set.

And Arsenal plays Monaco

You'll be alright tho, PSG are not as good as you think. They've gotten worse and Chelsea's gotten better.

If anyone has been watching PSG, you'll see a team playing terribly. Chelsea should be able to walk right over them.

They play very slowly against their domestic opponents, it's painful to watch. Their loss to Guingamp was crazy bad. The whole team looked like they were going through the motions. Motta has been particularly bad... Unless PSG revitalizes itself before then, this has the makings of an epic *** whippin'.

Ya Ya will be out for the first leg vs Barca due to yellow card accumulation.

That's the beauty of football. Crosses all borders, racial lines, backgrounds and creed.

75% of the time I wear soccer kits (today I'm wearing an Inter one) sometimes people will ask me about certain teams/kits. Just threw me off that anybody would start a convo about my BELOVED CHIVAS, since they ONLY use Mexicans.

doesnt hurt that , that kit is a work of art...

:nthat:

 most people recognize my Chelsea jerseys as soccer jerseys, but I've had some ask if I'm on a cycling or bowling team sponsored by Samsung

Hope you guys are right about PSG, only games I've seen them in were against Barcelona and they looked dangerous

My girl hates when I wear my Kaká kits. She says those ALWAYS bring me unwanted and unneeded attention

My CHIVAS kits would usually bring a question or comment as to why does it say BIMBO in the front. I have a boca Jrs kit with a big *** Pepsi logo that people be wondering about. Haven't worn my Pink RM Chicha kit, but I can already picture the looks
