You need more practice...

This was all I could find...
my listening/hearing and comprehension of conversation cantonese isn't too bad. Admittedly the cantonese I hear on TV sounds different to me than in person for some reason.

Probably about 75% is understood from just walking around the language and eavesdropping on conversations or my family/parents.... (hearing groups of people talk **** about me in HK because they assume I don't talk/aren't Chinese is LULz, happens way more than you would think)

The issue with me, is the speaking. Like I can understand and process when people are conversating to me, but once its time for me to formulate a response its like trying to solve a calculus problem in the span of a few seconds and thats when I start sounding like idiot... or in the words of my uncle I sound like a "gwai low"

Never knew you were Asian Rck, guess there is really a lot of us in this thread! :pimp:

Just saw the recap of the City v. Sunderland match. The former City players were out there to prove a point lol. Even had Pantilimon in goal!

Oh and Fat Frank extending his loan :pimp:

^ Damn, I had no idea you were too...

So nomadicsole21 nomadicsole21 , rck3sactown rck3sactown , @SinnerP, @Keepie Uppie, homie from Macau,& myself are Asian... Who are the 20?

Also, gotta share that my son has scored 8 goals & has 4 assists in the last nine games... His play has been stellar. He's really learned to help keep possession, looks to set up the counter quickly, & make those overlapping runs... :smokin It's been so fun watching him & his team play.

His team lost in the championship of an indoor tournament to a great team last Tuesday & the team is in another indoor tournament tomorrow. Wish us luck lads...

Dat finish from Nugent :smokin

We're looking like the team that started the season again, and with two home games against Stoke and Villa we really need to push on. It's gonna be very difficult, but we'll see.

Well done to Spurs today btw firepower firepower rck3sactown rck3sactown and any other Spurs fans.

Ps. Anfield is a great ground, but the "famous" Kop is overrated and their fans were terrible lol.

Damn, Stevie out of Liverpool :\ - That slip last season will haunt him forever :smh:

Where does he go now? MLS? :nerd:

BTW Watching this great special on the Southampton youth academy on NBC Sports.

Probably MLS tbh.

Seems like the most logical next step toward retirement.
Maybe he joins Lampard at NYCFC, but then gets loaned to Man City for half a season - then City decide to keep him the full season and he finally wins silverware in 2015/16!!!

?

I'm kinda glad Man City pulled this. Garber and the MLS started to think their **** was primo, glad someone knocked em down a few pegs.

One step back, two steps forward hopefully.

Former Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier is the sporting direction with the NY Red Bulls. He could end up there or with the Galaxy if I had to guess.
