This was all I could find...

my listening/hearing and comprehension of conversation cantonese isn't too bad. Admittedly the cantonese I hear on TV sounds different to me than in person for some reason.

Probably about 75% is understood from just walking around the language and eavesdropping on conversations or my family/parents.... (hearing groups of people talk **** about me in HK because they assume I don't talk/aren't Chinese is LULz, happens way more than you would think)

The issue with me, is the speaking. Like I can understand and process when people are conversating to me, but once its time for me to formulate a response its like trying to solve a calculus problem in the span of a few seconds and thats when I start sounding like idiot... or in the words of my uncle I sound like a "gwai low"

Also, gotta share that my son has scored 8 goals & has 4 assists in the last nine games... His play has been stellar. He's really learned to help keep possession, looks to set up the counter quickly, & make those overlapping runs... It's been so fun watching him & his team play.

Former Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier is the sporting direction with the NY Red Bulls. He could end up there or with the Galaxy if I had to guess.
