the silly rumor of the day is that Chelsea are going to offer Ramires plus cash for Progba

From what I've read, he's very happy to commit to Juve cause they were the only club that gave him a shot when he wanted FT footy.

Who knows though, money changed things.

No way.

I also think he is happy at Juve and they are not looking to sell him. The thing is if Juve gets a offer of 70 or more, I don't think they could turn it down and he knows this.

I wonder if Arsene Wenger let go of Podolski to free up room for El Shaawary.

I really hope he addresses the CDM/CB issue though

To be fair. Moyes setup his squad very defensively (as per usual) and he was very fortunate about Enrique's naive team selection. But credit where credit is due, Moyes does what he does, and closed down spaces making it tough to try and weave through.

This will do a world of confidence for him.

Nah, Moyes had very little to do with this win. Barca hasn't won at Anoeta for 3-4 years & other clubs at the top of the table like Madrid & Atleti haven't won there either.

Plus, La Real have one of the better CBs in Europe & certainly Liga in Inigo Martinez leading the defense.

He's not the tallest of CBs but if anyone watched the game yesterday one would see he has a knack for making the right play at the right time consistently & plays with fire in his belly.

Being Basque born, I'm not sure if he would've come to Camp Nou if called but I wanted Barca to get this kid when it looked like their other targets wanted to go else where.

Edit - Plus the only goal scored yesterday was an own goal from Jordi Alba...

all the twitter jokes of moyes pre Barca match had me

Then they go and win and everyone was like....see we were serious with the "Barcalona....No problem" jokes

I never felt good about the match & that increased 10 fold when Enrique's line-up was announced. Just glad Madrid lost too.

Wow... News hitting Barca has terminated Zubi's contract... :smokin

The new elections can't come soon enough because Bartomeu & his board can't go soon enough... Bartomeu & his board are just as culpable as Zubi if not more.

Although Joan Laporta shouldn't come back especially with his Enron style accounting practices... He's the sole reason why the club has as much debt as it has.

That bastard reported the club was €11 million in the black at the end of his final year as Prez but an independent audit after he was ousted found the club was €442 million in debt... That's unforgivable. He should be persona non grata on club grounds.

I wonder what this means to Puyol since he just graduated and is going to be a sports director as well.

that is absolutely ridiculous.

:smh:

It's one thing to lie by a few 100k or even a mil here or two...but that gap between reality and what he claimed is just ridiculous.

Yeah, I can't even believe his name is coming up from Socios as to coming back. Shocking really. The accounting was so bad, the club had to take out a €125 back then (2010) to help pay for club costs including player wages.

Last I read back in July 2014, the debt has been reduced to €287 million which isn't too bad considering the revenue. The club has been doing a great job of paying down the debt while growing revenue.

If Laporta comes back, it would be poison for the club absolute poison.

dvsonm dvsonm - Puyol isn't ready to become Sporting Director yet.

Yeah he just released a statement [emoji]128532[/emoji]

Wow, Puyol announced he's leaving his post as assistant director... :smh:

What is going on at Camp Nou...

Edit - The picture is a little clearer... Zubi did an interview Sunday night with Canal Plus in which he apparently laid the blame for the transfer ban on Bartomeu.

If I had my wish list, I'd love to see Sevilla's Monchi as Barca's sporting director.

Edit - Under his watch the following players have come through Sevilla's academy; Sergio Ramos, Jesus Navas, Jose Reyes, & Alberto Moreno...

Barca has signed a number of Monchi's discoveries like Ivan Rakitic, Dani Alves, Seydou Keita, & Adriano...
