Ice... lots of ice!Had a big weekend of footy for my son's team so I couldn't finish watching Madrid beat up on Depo... Son played striker for the first time Sat & did a hell of a job. Had 2 assists. He had 2 shots blocked by the keeper & one that rang out. We beat one of the bigger name brand teams in Maryland (Pipeline) which was started by 2 ex MLS players. My son pulled his upper-inner right thigh so he couldn't play Sunday but we beat the #2 team in the league. So we're 2-1 in the Sat league & 2-1 in the Sunday league. Feels good.
Then again, kids heal super-fast anyway!

One of the fathers on the team that has played for all of his life through College (he got a scholarship) recommended Arnica Gel, a homeopathic remedy which is working really well. We're keeping him out of technical training tonight & practice tomorrow. If all is good, he'll be at the next practice Thurs & resume play this weekend.
Ronnie must know that clip of him throwing James out of his group went viral... Here he is pulling James into his group during training...Korea vs North Korea U16 Asian Championship highlights... I can't help but think the poor North Koreans are proly celebrating less about winning & more about avoiding having to be sent off to a work camp/prison...

No... There was a report in the summer that N. Korea was telling it's people they won the WC but it was a fake story that a lot of news agencies stupidly carried...

Yep, which was brilliant. Beating Liverpool, Alrsenal and City twice each last season was masterful. The problem wasnt the big teams, it was playing defensively against teams like Crystal Palace, Aston VIlla and Norwich. That's what lost us the title. Also parking the bus against an Atletico team that we should have tried to beat

They do however get severely punishment if they don't show well. I'm not sure what happened to the 2014 team, but the 2010 team was subjected to a 4 hour public shaming in front of the N Korea press & 400 government officials. The manager & his coaches were sent to work in coal mines & the players were sent to prison work camps... :x
