Hello,

and welcome all sneaker heads and "Jordan" Lovers. This topic is Not meant to offend any Shoe heads out there or talk down to anyone. So please when you share your Feedback, Please be Respectful of other peoples opinions.

LETS START

I have Been Lurking on NT while also doing my Research and even bought a few pair of Unauthorized/GM shoes to wear myself. I see a lot of topics on this site that say GM/Unauthorized shoes are fake, Even if some are the same exact Quality shoe as retail.

For the past year i have been looking into Most of the Popular Chinese websites and also Following NIKE/Jordan Brand to See how and where these shoes are Made.

FACT #1

Nike signs Contracts with Factories in Dongguan, Guangdong China To make Their Shoes/products. Which They release a few Months Down the line and checked through quality control. Contracts usually last 2-3 Months with a Factory until they are shipped to Nike HQ in Memphis,TN where they will Be distributed to Nike retailers though out the country such as Champs, Footlocker, Finish line Etc.

FACT #2

Nike Has Random Restocks on Shoes though out the year and some B grades, which are flawed shoes and Generally sold at Nike outlets with Different Boxes, B stamped on the inside Tag most of the time.

Marketing Tool

Nike Advertises and Teases Shoe colorways in the Media and also in the Music industry in order to Hype up the up coming release of the their Sneaker, for example you will see your most popular Basketball players or rappers with the first pair ever seen on foot. When the shoe Finally releases they only release a certain quantity. Which means after they are sold out Most people have to look to the reseller to get a pair. The jordan brand could have the shoe available all year round but that would make the value depreciate and the trend will slowly decrease. Which is why they market the shoe value so high in price but low in quantity.

FACT #3

Modern Day Slavery. underpaid Chinese workers in the factory have always Been used and Slaved at a very young age to produce these shoes Handmade.

Pay attention to the Name and location of this factory

GREY MARKET:

Heres the Good part. So i decided to pick up are few pairs of shoes from different places Like Taobao popular sellers and queensole and various other websites and got a lot of personal information as well as PROOF where these shoes are coming from.  a couple of sellers had the factory send me a Direct order of Bred 11s That were stamped in the inside of the box.

the factory address was on the EMS shipping label and i found out That Nike has Done business with his factory and area before as stated in articles that were on strike.

The Funny part about This is i Asked a popluar Chinese seller if he gets his shoes from the same factory and he said yes as well as Yue yuen Factory where the workers went on strike in the article!

Proof pics

heres another seller below that says that is where he got the legend blue 11 Aka "Columbias"

Ok so This is Fact that all shoes are coming from the same area in china as the retail only difference in there is no quality control so they cut corners on their work and sellers like these are trying to make profit of the shoes due to them being used as slaves to us, which i dont blame them.

Social Media and Website Hype:

This is Very Important these webites and social media pages mislead people on the wrong info about shoes. For Example Sole Collector dot come has been showing early released pictures of the new jordan Colombia 11s for about a month and just recently Came out with a Article explaining the Real Vs the fakes.

http://*************.com/news/air-jordan-11-legend-blue-authentic-vs-fake/

When truth is the same ones they are calling fake have been on their page for weeks as "Exclusive early release pictures"

ALSO BIG FACT is that Nike Didnt approve of the Sole color so they changed it! the shoe came from the same factory.

Next is Kicksonfire They to have Pictures up of early released shoes that they steal from taobao and unauthorized overseas sellers, some pictures they steal from Kistor a popular taobao unauthorized seller.

But i thought GM/Unauthorized sellers sell fakes? why would popular sites like these take their pictures...?

Notice the background and the setting of these pictures, they are his pictures for his taobao site

NOW LOOK AT KICKSONFIRE PICTURES....

Why is this ok.....?  they do this a lot

Even popular Sneaker Instagrams are shouting out popular early release GM sellers like AJ sole.....

Aj sole is a Taobao overseas seller that works with Rstor. the same people that say they dont wear fakes and only cop from retail stores are flocking to these same sellers and third parties and selling you GMs which are always almost the exact same as the retail releases unless you get a bad B grade pair.

i have seen some Big IG names sell Unauthorized shoes at Sneaker CON and sneaker con even gave them "Legit" tags after it passed their inspection.  ???

I also asked one of the sellers if they get invoices for buying these shoes in there factories and he said yes and sent me this

My point in all of this is to show that we are all getting the same thing out here, yes some are flawed more than others but they are handmade items. If i had you write you name 50 different times on a piece of paper they would all look different because humans are not machines and we are not perfect.

Thank you for your time i could have went on more about this with other pictures and videos but ill stop it write there

I have no interest in defending Nike's labor practices.  They're open to criticism and one could certainly make the argument that Nike's past/current labor strategies have contributed to or accelerated their counterfeiting problem.

That's fine.

However, when it comes to fake shoes, or whatever silly euphemism people want to use to pretend these are "just as good," even though we all acknowledge that the products in question do NOT pass Nike QC and have no incentive to be built to the same quality standards as authentic products, there's only one fact that matters:

These products are being sold illegally.

As far as NikeTalk is concerned, that's all that matters.  We are NOT going to allow people to promote illegal, unauthorized merchandise.

If you want to start a thread to critique Nike's labor, sourcing, and counterfeit response strategies, feel free.  However, we're NOT going to allow any threads that seek to legitimize the illegal sale of counterfeit/unauthorized/"ghost shift" products.
