So did everyone get a high *** contract after the the first season?
Just signed wit the thunder for a 2yr/$22.61m contract

I met the nike/jordan rep which was funny. Still haven't signed yet tho. He just said he was watching :nerd:
jackson ellis

When you sign your free agent deal do you get to see whos on the roster you sign to?

Nah you cant see the roster . When I signed with the Knicks, everyone was the same, they resign Amare bc he starts for us, no changes at all, except the coach.

Here go again talking that Barbie dress up talk....... :rolleyes

From DaCzar

I hear guys struggling on defense and can't stop AI runs, You just got the game is it possible that you will get better in a week or so defensively ? Beauce if we make changes and you do get better the gane will be too easyto beat.

If you can't get stops on all star u have no business on SuperStar. So can we have a period where you learn how to defend before we declare the AI cheats. ? Or do we just want to make a snap decision 2-3 days in that will affect us for the rest of the year?

For example I am consistently able to keep the AI sub 48% shooting an have games depending on the opponent sub 42%.

If your playing short quarters it is entirely possible the AI shoots an inflated % in a shorter qtr game especially if your not an A + defensive player on the sticks .

I told you guys early that this was tuned for 48 minutes of play if your playig shorter than that then all the ebb and flow of a 48 min game is compressed aand that is made worse by any user that can't consistently defend. Not baling a user just trying to point this out.

If your not manually adjusting defensive settings= torched by AI.

If your not adjusting you actions or play calls to what AI def is doing= torched.

If you don't know ratings wise in game what your best scoring matchups are etc you will prob struggle unless your amazing on offense or defense.

I do hear the complaints about interior misses and we are looking into that.

In past games even with subpar in close ratings guys scored automatically regardless of who was around. Now the way it is if he is not elite inside you shouldn't shoot in traffic. Which forces people to find the open shot.

Side effect is it keeps people from auccessfully paint spamming an finding oter ways to score. It makes you evaluate who you are, where you are, who your beiing defended by and if this is the best shot you can get.

You never had to consider those things before.

Problem number 1 if you comainung about ai % your probably playing on a level to high for your defensive abilities. Try a lower level withdecreased ahooting % sliders for you to keep it a challenge unti you can hold the ai to sub 42% shooting.

Just a suggestion. If yoh don't want to or don't feel you should have to then no problem.

But i just think you hould get settled forst on an adequate level for your abilitie before you start requesting changes that a month from now you may want reversed.

So as you post your fg% issues would be helpful if you post level style and mi.n per qtr.

Also we have stuff in there like late contrsts don't mean ad much defensively as a shot where you pressured him a few. seconds prior to the contest.

Body position closer to shootig hand side has more effect than beig on the opposite side.

Different defenders have different effects on shot timing windows.

Also te AI poe makes adjustments during the game, do you ?.

I'm juat saying move the meter down if your struggling and lock in for a few days and ten if you like Czar the **** not fair then lets discuss that.

Currently looking into O rebounding and AI too high oreb putback %.

Forgive typos typing as I walk on treadmill.

And my 2c on rebounds

I have been quiet for some time on this subject as I didn't want people to get emotional.

I think most of this is user error. I watch videos of people playing the game and what are some fundamental basketball flaws that practically BEG the CPU to get 20 OREBS per game.

1. Challenging with a weak side defender: You have to remember, if CP3 gets beat off the dribble by Lillard, and DeAndrea shifts over to contest the shot, Meyers Leonard is probably not going to be boxed out by anyone in time. So guess what he is going to do? Exactly. OREB. Most of you dudes jump around attempting to block shots like your mothers work for pogo stick companies. Stay on the damn ground. That is step one.

2. You do not understand that you have to HOLD the box out for an extended period of time before releasing. It is easy to make the mistake of boxing out for a split second and then disengaging to go after the rebound. NO! Just NO! Hold that offensive player on your butt and you might even have to let the ball hit the ground and/or your teammate clean up the rebound. Hold your box out longer.

3. Get into rebound position before the shot is released. Some of you wait until the ball is in the air to get into rebounding position. Too late man. OREB

I will say that 3's don't produce long rebounds as frequently as they should. Regardless, that has nothing to do with the poor rebounding feundamentals I am seeing.

So yea, #UserError

Don't change anything Czar

Nah I grab waaay too many offensive rebounds,

but you go ahead and keep telling people what modes to play and what they're doing wrong :rolleyes

He still in the game ? haven't seen him yet, when do you run into him?
He works for JB/Nike. Tells you that they're keeping an eye on you.

So I guess that means homies career only lasted 1 season? Son went from a first round draft pick to a 1st season bust turned Footlocker sales associate?

Damn.

Here go again talking that Barbie dress up talk.......

A lot of good info from Da Czar. It was much better reading it than hearing him using that corny *** voice

The things he mentioned definitely hold some truth to it. I play 12 minute quarters in my games vs the CPU and will play 12 min quarters in MyLeague whenever I start it up. You can definitely tell the game was built for 48 minutes. I usually play about 1 half of basketball just to get a feel for different teams and test the sliders out that I'm using. I lost to the Wizards last night using the Bucks 92-75 on 12 min quarters. I was holding them to about 44% shooting until they made a run in the 2nd half. They finished at about 46% (I was shooting 40%). I had to modify the sliders I was using from one of the guys over at OS and I'm starting to see better results shooting the ball.

I'm still looking into the rebounding. Nene and Gortat killed me on the boards last night (I think they had like 16 and 13 boards). I felt like I did a good job boxing out, but a lot of times I was getting beat off the dribble by Wall, which drew my big man out to help (resulted in offensive rebounds at times for the opposing team). I'm starting to think I may be better using the PF or C most of the game and only switching to a perimeter player occasionally against the CPU. It seems like the AI of the bigs for the user is a little slow when it comes to the paint.
