And then a person claiming to be a friend of Darren Wilson on the radio  is somehow more credible than numerous witness whom have given their statements on television...

Word!! Still acting like these guys are boy scouts, people still turn a blind eye to how corrupt the police dept is, and the fact they will lie to save their ***** with the support of their fellow officers. Thank god for camera phones and technology.

It's so crazy :smh: this whole incident has shown on full display how horrible the cops can be. Their is footage of a cop pointing his gun telling people "I will ****** kill you" and when aske his name he tells the reporter "go **** yourself" but people will still swear that cops can do no wrong

St. Louis police have released cell phone video of their officers shooting Kajieme Powell, the 25-year-old man who was killed Tuesday only four miles from where police shot and killed Michael Brown in nearby suburb of Ferguson 10 days earlier.

A business owner called police on Tuesday saying Powell had stolen drinks and a pastry from his convenience store, according to a 911 call that police also released.

Police said Powell pulled out a knife and was acting erratically when the officers arrived and told the officers "shoot me now," according to St. Louis TV news station KMOV. Those details appear to be confirmed by the video.

The video does not completely match up with the police department's initial account, though.

In a statement to the media on Tuesday, St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson said the officers shot Powell when he came within four feet of them, and that Powell was holding the knife with an "overhand grip." In the video, Powell seems to have his hands down and appears to be farther away when the cops open fire.

It's just one of the codes of white supremacy in action.  Everyone decides on the lie that they're going to tell, and sticks to that lie until it becomes true.  Just look at how they've convinced people that Egypt was white - ridiculous at first but they repeated the lie over and over until people believed it.

That fundraiser is sickening. People at work (inner city school) called me crazy when I told them the country was on a road of repealing civil rights a couple years ago.

The comments left, attached to their donations, proves that racism is alive and well. The posts in this thread proves that racism is alive and well.

I don't know about others in the thread but my eyes are open and it's disgusting. NT used to be a place where you figured....equal hobby = cool folks. Not any more. I'm ashamed of being part of NT these past couple weeks. If not for method man, and the rules, I put the house that every racial epitaph would have been spewed by a lot of these nters in here trolling.

A lot of self hate, white priveledge and plain ole ignorance.

Trying to discount witnesses because they're not verbatim? Everyone's brain works differently. People see different things, viewing the same thing. They use different adjectives, verbs, nouns, and perception of elapsed time. It's only because they're balm witnesses do they find fault.

I'm Mexican, and I love everyone. Culture is an awesome thing. I don't have many white friends but it's not for lack of trying.

At the end of the day....black and brown kids need to learn to be one, towards the same result...equality.

I saw that interview last night too and was bothered by the interviewer's initial "playing of devil's advocate" defending the police actions and the fact he was smiling and laughing the whole time like something was funny
