Friggin black hip hop artists are silent on many social issues affecting black people. Usually they only hop on the issue that gets the most media attention at the time. I'd be impressed if Rick Ross did a whole segment about obesity, heart disease and diabetes in the black community....something that kills far more blacks than violence.

Maybe he has, that's why he lost weight?

We're talking about exploitation. How are black people entering into these institutions and exploiting white people? How is getting the right to vote the same as a white person making money from a culture they are not apart of.

Black people built this country and we deserved the right to vote. We deserved the right to fair wage and deserve the right to jobs in this country. You are making false equivalencies left and right.

Us "penetrating" white institutions is hardly the same thing as what you are claiming.

This directly addresses one of the points Azealia Banks was speaking to. The powers that be make it a goal to erase our contributions to world culture. She briefly mentioned language, religion, metallurgy, and horticulture. All of these things were brought into existence by African people and yet we give white people the credit for everything becasue they are the writers of history. They are the ones who create the curriculum that keeps us deaf, dumb, and blind to who we are.

There are so many cases of Europeans taking ideas and exploiting melanated people its crazy. The Hidden Colors series does a great job highlighting some of these facts.

Dr. Kaba once said that the only great thing a white man invented was the patent office.... so they could legally steal ideas of the slaves they were disenfranchising.
