What, Robin was a beast. They way he transitioned from character to character was stunning. His situational comedy was uncanny.

All asked was weather the crackheads youve seen won or ever been nominated for an oscar. Simple yes or no would have sufficed. Never alluded that an oscar meant greatness, but you did allude that a crackhead was in some sort of way comparble to Robin Williams. Of the many distiguishing facts I could have said, I used an Oscar. Which is normally won by those who get paid pretty good imo to act like a crackhead and not by actually being crackhead.

Whats race has to do with any of the convo you and I are having?

That is a pretty specific opinion and comparison though. You have to know that you are probably in the minority with this opinion saying Robin Williams acts like a crack head but I guess I get it even though I don't know any crack heads personally. I think the better word is he's an eccentric person. And glorifying him isn't solely based on his acting but just cause he's a good person. But I think all actors get their just due whether black or what or whatever race. Even when James Avery passed, I felt like he got a lot of press for it considering he was best known for the dad on Fresh Prince.

I am in the TL all the time but to say all those guys are crack heads would be false. Tons of them are just poor and homeless. There are tons of crackheads for sure out there but not one time did I ever talk or look at him/her and say "Man....that guy/girl acts like Robin Williams". The association of the two I just don't get. Maybe SF has different types of crackheads.

His kind of comedy was just that goofy dumb comedy
Like what jim carrey does
That whole schtick is weak IMO
and seemed evident during the vma's when him carrey and dude from the newsroom were promoting dumb and dumberer

I guess. I know that isn't everyone's cup of tea. Robin Williams stand up was far from legendary and I think his best work was just being in interviews which probably doesn't give off a lot of credit. Another comedian like that imo is Tracy Morgan. Dude is super funny in interviews but his stand up is really mediocre and even specific to certain people. I saw him last year with almost 80% white people and all he did was crap on white people the whole time. About an hour in, people started to leave and I bet they wanted that 30 Rock Tracy Morgan but got the other side instead.

All I know is Epps better do this biopic proper. I feel like this could actually propel him into another category if done right.

Earliest memory I got of RP is my parents taking me to the movies to see live at the sunset strip cause they didn't have a babysitter :lol:
