Marlon can't get gritty enough to be Rich in a movie. Epps was the better choice between the 2.

i hope they changed the direction of the story being told.
they were supposed to be doing the same timeline in his life that was used in Jo Jo Dancer, but how can you play Pryor better than Pryor played himself?
reminds me of Ali with Will Smith, Ali (or at least that timeline) had already been done BY ALI, how can you play Ali better than he did?? dumb.

What, Robin was a beast. They way he transitioned from character to character was stunning. His situational comedy was uncanny.

This should be of real concern. Will Epps find the audience.
I'm not too familiar with him outside of Friday, but this could be a career jumpstart for him. Especially since Kevin Hart came on the scene.

I agree. I literally don't know anything outside of his role from Friday. Granted I don't focus on his career nor stand up but I never found him that great with both. But if Jamie Fox can do it, he can. Even prior to Jamie doing Ray, no one looked at him as a great actor with the exception of maybe Ali. He got an oscar and people even look past that he was ugly girl in In Living Color.
