Prokhorov tribute pokes fun at Knicks

NEW YORK -- Sergey Kushchenko gave Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov a video tribute for his 50th birthday, one that includes some digs at the rival New York Knicks.

During a 15-second span, the video shows pictures of Knicks fans with bags over their heads and Carmelo Anthony and James Dolan looking miserable, and a clip of Knicks guard Alexey Shved's shot sailing way over the backboard.

Dolan, who Prokhorov once referred to as “that little man,” is listed as a “guest star” in the opening credits.

Kushchenko is a long-time friend and confidant of Prokhorov’s and is on the Nets' board of directors.

NetsDaily first posted the video.

Prok should be the last person poking fun at the Knicks

his team is in a 10x worse situation

Mudiay is really growing on me since NBA Lottery Selection. I didn't realize that he's a heck of a prospect.

I feel like I may have to switch teams after tomorrow night....Phil isn't the zen master. This ***** is just high as **** all the time. If he ***** up the pick im out until he's gone.

I'm actually gunna be at my little cousins graduation party. My whole family already finds me strange, will be even moreso when they hear me cursing after we draft Porzingis.

If Russell isn't available the Knicks are gonna trade down. Is Porzingis gonna play this year if we draft him ? Don't care about him being frail if he's drafted he needs to play now

I feel like Phil is trying to build up Porz stock so someone ahead of us drafts him. No way Phil is dumb enough to draft that bozo.

rather Mario than Zingy tbh
Bruh you would rather the Euro JR smith, who doesnt fill any need, than the Euro 7'2 athletic big who strokes 3s?

I dont get how some of hall evaluate your Euros man.

Happy Zinger day yall :pimp:

Bobcats got Lamb for absolutely nothing :smh:
Got Lamb, Batum now, still have Hairston... They just traded Vonleh after year 1...

Idk man just saying, seems to be a fire sale going on down there. I dont think MKG is untouchable right now.

Make the call Phil...

Idc what yall say but MKG + CamPayne/WCS would be :pimp:

That ESPN article on Mudiay really is a great read. I am still sticking with Zinger as my pick at 4, but it's neck and neck. I love both of them. And I love both of their characters as much as their games.

Two quotes that stood out to me from the article:
"I knew he was an athlete, but wow, I wasn't expecting this. It's possible that the moment he turns pro, he is the most athletic point guard there has ever been."
Definitely an exaggeration IMO, but i love hearing **** like that. Sometimes I get worried by the Mudiay haters saying that his athleticism is overblown and he is more Tyreke Evans than Wall/Westbrook as an athlete. I know it is a lot to expect to him to be this class of freak athlete, but if we are investing our entire future in him, as an athletic PG, this is the kind of **** that I want to hear since none of us have actually seen him play that much.
He'd mimic the left-handed shot of his favorite player, Lakers guard Derek Fisher, with startling perfection.
I mean you have to be ******* kidding me right?? Who the ****'s favorite player is Derek ******* Fisher growing up??

In addition the rest of the article is great as well. Supreme confidence in himself and his game, and I am a big believer in tough times building tough people, and Mudiay DEFINITELY had a tougher upbringing than any prospect coming out of Zaire. I will be thrilled if Mudiay is a Knick. He would electrify this city.

But I still think Zinger has a slightly greater upside, and a similar swag so I'm still rolling with the athletic 7'2 shot blocker/trey bomber. I think he will be much more "Greek Freak" than Darko. If Zinger could average 2 blocks per game, it is game over IMO.

His bulk doesnt concern me as much as his rim protection,. Even though bulk seems to be the unanimous primary concern for most people about the Zing, it just doesnt worry me at all. Nobody bangs down low nowadays. Athletic bigs are all the rave today. I know that Zinger is already considered a good defender/shot blocker, which is a great sign, but if we draft him I want him to be our center, and if he could average 2 blocks per game for us, I am all in. And I think he can. Those concerns worry me slightly less than Mudiay's J.
