Some of you guys forgot where we came from in terms of quality and comfort with JB after all these years.

 on this one. "are such bad quality" is definitely not true. 2013 Chicagos are such bad quality but saying the black/reds and royals are is definitely embellishing it. It is not that terrible. The leather on the 2011 concords and 2013 chicago 1's are terrible.

I admit I went too far. But they aren't good quality at all. I just got the concord in they are cardboard quality. That was the reason I sold my 2013 chicagos.
 
Technically speaking. Quality include not only material, craftsmanship too. The OGs used lrgit meterial but they didn't have the craftsmanship we have today.

But as much as 1994s are valued and hyped, their quality isn't the best either. They literally have no padding and the leather isn't really too notch either. Probably comparable to the black and whites even.

The NA 2013 1s were a re-introduction back into the Nike Air branding and blank heel that a lot of us thought we would never see again. So craftsmanship is definitely better. Especially cause before that point, we mostly saw mids or highs a la Vegas 1's that still was cut short. And the comfort is much better on the 2013s than what it used to be pre 2013 for 1s. Correct me if I'm wrong but not even the 2001s have great comfort unless you swapped insoles.

That's why I got rid of my 94s. Just can't wear them. Hurts my feet. That's why I think remastered 1s will be better than OGs.

Balling in 1s back in the day is like wearing flip flops balling now. They were that bad but we had nothing else.

Didn't they have Adidas superstars? I balled in those hard and I thought they were solid hoop shoes.

heard the next 2015 jordan colab is with japanese porn and 1s. joints gonna be blurry around the toebox and make screeching noise when u step into the ground. make em say ugggggh. you can't help but check black on that next application after rocking these joints. also a geisha version for small foot cats with no toe box. only a heel. back to celebrating kwanza!

Clearly these guys are ****. Not Koreans. Shou lee is Korean that lives in China.

my 01's are mad comfy with crazy padding, yet they are tanks. nothing swapped.

Ummm yeah sure.

You must be new to I's. So what was the Chicago's and all those mids and jumpman I's made out of?

One thing I notice is people seem to jump on the bandwagon on the internet. When people were talking about paying $400 and $500 resell nobody was running up in the threads talking this bad quality mess.

But one person says something and people seem to feel confident or decide to play follow the leader.

the only 1s I had before royals shadows and breds were 09 shadows (whatever the ones with the decent quality suede on em was) and the vegas...think I picked up bhm 3m ones as well. royals weren't even my size so I can't contrive about comfort or anything but quality was definitely lack luster to me.

eitherway I'm not worried about quality or comfort for these at all, I like the mold and the colorway, and I happen to be a fan of fragment's collabs with carhartt and a few other brands. it could be a gr like the b/w ones or a limited release like it seems to be and I would still probably go out of my way to find the means to purchase them.
 
haven't been on this thread in weeks, and just read a lot of dumb **** catching up and some good **** too, but looking at these pics makes me sad. I NEED THESE regardless of the logo or what it says in the sole. These gonna be crazy hard to get and people saying you crazy to pay like 500 before it releases, I beg to differ cause I know someone who snapped on a pair for $940 USD in japan cause most going for more than 120,000 yen. I hope i can snag a pair online, but not expecting much. gonna have to see how much i gotta give up if i really want a pair
 
My HOH told me to comeback Sunday to see if they'll be getting them. As of now, they supposedly don't know. I'll defiantly be :nerd:

Imo the second generation rappers are far more important than the first even tho second generation pay homage to the first all the time. Basically Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Nas, Jay-Z, Wu-Tang, and all of them, to me, are far more important than Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Slick Rick, Rakim, and those guys (even tho I love these guys too)

I get what you mean tho. Basically japanese prefer the TR-808 sound compared to todays synthesized Logic Pro/Pro Tools feel.

You honestly think Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Grandmaster Flash and The Furious 5 could've carried the genre like that? The late 80s cats could not have blown up hip hop like that. NWA being the only exception

The 80s guys started it but the early 90s guys DEFINED it.

The 80's guys nurtured a culture and the 90's guys also nurtured it and made it grow. Hell the 80's guys enjoyed the fruit of the 70's guys labor.

Royals & Breds are exact same leather quality
Shadows have that buttery thinner leather, better for no creasing & everyday wear
The Black Toe quality was bad
The Black White's quality was awesome also, soft white
 
Yall keep talking about the black toes like they don't have feelings. It's not like the leather was the one jb put on the bugs bunny 8s
