Destiny Thread (Bungie) - 9/9/14

I think people forget the PS4 Rest Mode window for updates.. isn't it 2 hours? Meaning when you put your PS4 in rest mode it only checks for updates for 2 hours.. after 2 hours its just chilling. So basically, you would of have to put your PS4 in Rest Mode around the same time the patch dropped or force the download using that reddit method.
 
Mine took like 5 hrs to download... I'm hardline too... Had my wife check on it while I was at work. She said it stopped for a bit and then kept going... Must be all the traffic
 
What is yall up and down speeds on your system, I went downstairs did laundry and it was done by the time I threw the clothes in the dryer

lol I do always do laundry and play destiny for some odd reason

I kept reading about everyone having issues downloading it so I started it and I was finished mad quick, the new layout is pretty dope.

But I played for 10 mins then got over it lol

I have to finish some moments of triumph stuff so ill be on destiny this week, I need a golden chest from like every world so its dumb annoying I have to play each level with chests to figure out which 1 I'm missing. Literally 1 chest from each world, idk how I did that.

Batman is cool. I just needed to finish it so I can trade it in. Been sitting on it for way too long.
Will get MGS eventually too.

I didn't even bother with the chests. I think I only need like 5 but I'm burned out.

Yeah I was going to 100% batman but I can't do the riddler stuff, gets annoying after a while, I need to just knock the story out myself. I copped the digital and season pass, so I have the DLC stuff to do also.

Loving MGS man, Ill be on this and FIFA until Halo prob. Ill see how TTK is after release before I cop, the changes to Destiny seem interesting but want to make sure it's worth it.
 
I was kinda bummed they completely removed Dinklebot from all the old content.

I thought they would just kill him off and use thse new guy for TTK

I dont like the new ghost

Apparently you spawn with your icebreaker ammo after you die in pvp.

Gunslinger throwing knives count as melee kills...finally!

Anyone try rift out yet?
 
Download took about 5hrs for me....then it got to 98% and failed to continue. I was beyond pissed. File musta been corrupt or something, either way deleted it and redownloaded then went to sleep.

Woke up this morning and everything is good. Went to the tower and looked around a bit but I had to go to work. SO Xbox crew i'll be on tonight! GT: Faint Dj3
 
Hopped on and just did some of that way of the hunter thing. What do u get at the end of it. I got tired after the gym im on the strike part
