Legit Check - Nike x SBTG "Sabotage" [SOLD BY NIKE EMPLOYEE]

So I bought these a month or two ago on eBay. Completely forgot about them and then the seller messaged me to see if I had received my item. So I told him that I'd received the item but the sneakers he had sent me where not real. So we messaged back and forth about them and had I guess what you would call an argument because to him they're real but I myself am seeing too many flaws with this item. Leaf print isn't correct and too sparse, green on the toe is the wrong color, stars on the upper are too close to swoosh and the inside tag doesn't look like the correct font and the color code is too near to the "IW". There's more flaws, that's just a few examples. But here's the biggest thing, the seller then went on to tell me that he works for the Nike brand and he is concerned with the transaction. We messaged back and forth a little more and even after me telling him it's not that big of a deal he said this.

"Now I know the items I sold you are 100% genuine Nike branded items, they were lightly used but in reasonable order. Now I am in London in mid September and eay October, I can easily re-route myself of the track and pop in to Aylesbury and refund you with your cash and collect the items."

So he is pretty sure that he has sold me a genuine item and that he works for the Nike brand. If he really doesn't want me to have them I'm more than happy to give them back to him for a full refund, I only copped these because I thought I was getting a good deal.
