I agree, the Laney's had better leather than the 13 grapes and fire red but still too stiff IMO.  Since these white metallic are supposed to be re-mastered, I'm hoping for a softer tumbled leather like in the past (2000 Laney, etc).

I cant stand the blue tint but if you think about it helps, keeps it looking newer for a longer time

and when it does turn yellow, its not that sunny delight piss yellow that is disgusting to look at

Blue tint only looks good on some jordans.

On these 5s it really wasnt needed.

believe it or not when the clear sole eventually turns yellow they don't look bad. i had these back when they dropped. the clear soles on these would have been a better choice.

I would get these just to post a photo of my OG's to the New Ones... (I'm going to pull mines out today and just take a sad face looking at the 120.00 recept).. The shoes yelling.. and the recipt too..
 
I like this shoe a lot. Hopefully everyone in my area isn't fronting when they say its not for them...

As for the blue tint, I actually like when the yellow ages, in most cases it looks a little golden and great on some kicks, (metallic 5s, black 6s)
 
I heard the Red October foams are coming out the week after.  Hoping if they are, it'll drive some people away from wanting these
 
I don't understand y'all hating on the blue Tint. On some shoes it clashes, like the Carmines because they're predominantly red and white. I get that. But these are all white, it doesn't clash with anything.

I do agree that clear looks better, but the blue slows down the yellowing. And if you wear the shoes, they'll be clear, and then yellow, before you know it. All my 5s from 2013 are either clear, or slightly yellow on the bottoms now. Not blue at all.
 
Yeah I don't like the blue tint, but there are some J's it looks good on and this is one of them IMO. Looked good on Grapes too.

Yea exactly, it worked on the Laney's and the Olympic 6's too. My Olympic 6's I've worn a LOT, they're now pretty yellow, but I'd say the blue tint bought me at least an extra year of not having yellow bottoms.
