Yeah that's essentially one the dumbest things ever written. He basically said if you have to save for something, you shouldn't do it? The hell? Not surprising though considering the source.

Graduating in the summer. Tryna decide whether to go the the global health corps or nah. If not pending a job offer I'll be moving across the country to Cali. We'll see how everything plays out though

it's ok save.. we all do.. if your making enough money for a 22k vacaction you got it and not worried..

but if you got to work overtime to save for a 22 vacaction something isn't right.. we are talking about 22k here

truthfully i don't have to save for a 22k trip. I got it in my bank account plus more and I not afraid to spend it

if I needed 50k for a trip I'm going to spend it, that's above my level. if I was going to work overtime to save for a trip I can put that 50k overtime saved on my house and be done paying on it, then save my 2500k mortage a month that I would had been paying , up for 1 year then take the trip.

with a smile on my face my house is paid off or close too

No its a want, what's wrong with yaw? No one should ever want things or enjoy themselves. If for some reason they still do though despite the brilliant financial mind Superb's warning, they most certainly should not work hard to both acquire it make sure they don't take a hit to their current finances.

You gotta read man. He said he was working overtime to save money AND to pay for next year's vacation.
He did NOT say his vacation was going to cost 22 thousand dollars.

I working on getting my patents for my invention and saving money to pay the licensing fees from the companies I want to work with for it.
By the begining of the year I want to have everything paid for and prototypes made.
By this time next year I plan to be employer free for the duration of my life.
