This follow up effort is ill. Logic's flow is 2nd to none. He's top tier lyrically. I agree with the skits being whack. I didn't like the narration.

"Young Jesus" >>

I enjoyed a couple tracks off this, but to me it felt like he was copying a different rapper on a lot of the tracks. Stainless is essentially Backyard by Travis Scott, he also copies a couple of different artist's flows and there is one song that sounds like 808 Kanye & another that sounds like Kendrick.

There's 2 tracks that sound identical to records off IYRTITL

"Never Been" is :wow:
Sounds like some classic Dip Set.

Gave it about 4 or 5 listens. It's pretty good, nothing special tho. Hopefully it grows on me like 'Under Pressure' did.

IMO this guy is to influenced by other rappers. Tons of rappers looked up to others but the top tier never OD'd on
their particular style. They acknowledged and keep it moving into creating their own legacy. When your sampling
groups music and just over acknowledging it comes across as super corny to me.

I had a issue with Jcole doing that, but he balanced out and made a dope album.

I agree with this besides the dope album from Cole.

I'm STILL waitin for Cole to make memorable album.

But in other news it's lookin like 100K first week.

That's a HUGE surprise. I was thinkin around 40.

Born Sinner was not a good album. Forest Hill is Coles best album & its still not a classic

I'm amazed that he sold even more than his first project with even less support from Def Jam.

Yea I dont get it. He sold more than dudes who get heavy promo & buzz on hip hop sites. I barely see this guy on sites and aint even know he had another album coming out. Something aint right...

Yeah the skits are just not needed. I have given it a few more listens and I stick with my 3.75/5 rating. Album is a lot weaker after Lord Willin. Removing a few tracks and getting rid of the skits and you are talking about a damn good album here. Its just simply not as cohesive as Under Pressure.

As far as Logic biting other peoples style, after listening to his first album I definitely heard influences of Kendrick, Drake and Cole for sure. It really doesnt bother me that much with him for some reason. I think its because he blends it well but I still think he is a talented young artist that has to find his voice. The subject matter of his music is real and that doesn't come across fake to me. He is lyrically talented and I think can continue to make good music.

I'd like to know about this too  today's internet can make it seem like someone is buzzing heavy when they're really not, but can also make someone you think no one knows about really have a big fanbase. He sold a bit less than ASAP Rocky's first album, without having nearly the buzz he did at that time.

I already told y'all why. Just dodging the truth now

Mac Miller putting out 87k with his album

 man i refuse to believe that in this case cause Mac aint even sell that much and dude got his own show on MTV & is covered by alot of hip hop sites. Action Bronson only sold bout 60k first week and i see his stuff posted everywhere too. But this guy?? Na, I just dont get it at all. He has 2 of the most puzzling album sales numbers to me

Listening to this welcome to Forever now thinking dude is too nice on this production.

Random thought

Also action will always stay in his lane no matter how many side hustles he has.

To me Actionhas the best situation besides Mac, his cooking shows are highly entertaining. I much
rather see Action tour the world cooking and throwing a show here and there.
