I dont think he dyed the tongue, maybe he swapped the white tongue with a black one, I know that @AirThompson did the same thing too on his black toe, If I remember correctly, he used a black tongue from another nike shoe (dunks maybe) and he used a black/red tag as well (maybe from a cortez), if you're good at sewing, why not give it a try,

The quality leather used a big difference? I can only see the shape and padding be the only difference. Can't touch them 94's through the screen
