2013s weren't really proper. Aside from the branding of the shoe, the quality is

nah brah i really liked the shoe. i still have mine only wore em once and for some reason they broke neck. I think quality was decent for the time. now if these new chis have fragment quality i might have to throw away my 2013 retros 8)
 
Well yeah, to be fair it was decent at the time. It kind of hurt my pinky toe when I kept wearing them. That turned me off.

I still have 'em though, haven't thrown them out yet.
 
Hypebeasts are really showing their ***. Those are custom 1s from 2009. Those are the Metallic red 1s that are also OGs. Someone literally took the Nike swoosh off the shoe and got a marker.

They sat for weeks back in 2009 and have a resell value of under 200. As soon as someone says it's a QS with under 500 pairs everyone has to have them. That's why I can't with sneakerheads today
 
I hope all the people saying these are super limited miss out and all those optimistic fellas saying it'll be a GR cop multiple pairs.

The tables have turned. A local mom and pop shop near me gets a FSR in the Jordan 1s and the hype is below abysmal here, so I'll happily get them for retail like the Breds and Black/whites.

Lol nah, you were the one claiming people are saying they're gonna be limited just cause they wanna resell em.... You're wrong bud. Why wouldn't they be limited? If they make em normal numbers for a 1, they'll sell out with a lot of people still thirsting for em. Thus they can release the same shoe again in several years and still sell out, even with decent numbers (think Breds)

I guess it all depends where you live.  The older heads around me (including me) NEVER have a hard time aquring 1's.  The younger heads prefer 3's-7's, Foams, and KD's.  With 5's, 7's, 11 (lows) and De La Soul SB Dunks dropping before these, I'm sure there's going to be enough (and some) to go around.   (around me that is).
