Chicago 1s is supposed to have the OG treatment. The jumpman version just came out
EDIT: I think. Which would mean these shoes would be 180. Seems weird that they wouldnt make these "OG"

Well if the remastered are said to be without n/a than im holding the 13s for a while.
 
Wait, if those remastered 1's won't get the NA treatment, how about those lasers?
 
Remastered is just the stuff with better leather.

I think the lasers will have NA because they are marketed as "High". The ones with the NA usually say "Retro High OG" on the box
 
Lol. Yall are crazy. Are you SERIOUSLY suggesting or even entertaining the thought that the 2015 Chicagos WONT have NA on the tounge? I see that common sense is not welcome here. :lol:

That is not what remastered means :lol:

Otherwise all shoes next year will have NA. Im pretty sure it is supposed to say "OG". Dude who leaked this rumor prolly forgot to include it.

I'm not saying that's what remastered means. I'm simply saying that the 2015 Chicago 1s that will release will have NA on the tounge. It's obvious. Now as far as other regular mid 1s I'm assuming no, those probably won't. There's no reason to believe that those will have NA branding. But chicagos? Yes they will have it.

"We are going to be remastering our whole retro line starting Spring 15. It’s comprised of a couple different factors. One, we have the most highly qualified colleagues in Asia at the factory level who are working on our retro products. We have really high standards for production and quality controls. That’s one big part of it, and that kicked in last year actually, so we’ve been doing that for a while. And then the next piece is that we’re going to be, starting with Spring 15, all retro models in men’s are going to be redone, meaning new materials and getting as close to the original construction as humanly possible. It’s a pretty big deal."

He stated two things. One better quality, and two close to OG as possible. They are definitely getting a NA treatment. I don't know where that jump man rumor came from.


The Chicagos have been confirmed. It's 5/30/15 and it is listed on the j23app. I'll update the thread title when I get the chance.

they released jumpan chicago 1s less than two years ago, if nike did that again regardless of if they're remastered or not there would be riots

Common sense would tell you that the whole remaster thing isnt an actual new lineup or specific run. Its basically nike saying from here forward the retros are going to be retooled for better overall quality. This will boost consumer confidence and public image. Especially when the inflation kicks in. There are though never any guarantees. Sure the majority expects the n/a chicago. But till the official word, its all speculation, which is fair game.

What if I told you that doesn't make sense because they've been steady raising 20 dollars without needing a bs excuse or false reason? They just do it regardless.
