Steve Blake was getting rides in the chopper tho. Plus, something tells me he doesn't slack in practice.

Blows my mind how there hasn't been one dude on the Lakers who has tried to put hands on Kobe.

They need to bring in Diddy on a 10 day contract.

That's because the Lakers have no goons on the team. I honestly believe that's why they didn't put goons on the team this year. Let ANY goon play for the Lakers this season and I guarantee you that video from yesterday would have a fight in it  . Need at least Steve Blake on the team or something :smh:

Yeah...I can kinda see that. Dudes probably in awe of being on the same team as him and are afraid to speak up or do something about the belittling.

All in all, Kobe knew EXACTLY what he was getting in to. This is the bed he made when he signed. It is what it is, doe.

Yall really think kobe didn't get into it with artest shaq Luke or other past laker goons. Say what you may about kb but he ain't no punk

To elaborate more on Curry I don't think he'll ever win a title leading a team as the best player. It's Reggie Miller and Ray Allen all over again. Great players that need to be A piece to a championship puzzle. Not THEE piece.

That video right there is why "players won't play with kobe" Because he's gonna ride you to do better. Hence the people who he has a good relationship & the people who disliked him. dude isn't gonna let go of mediocre **** from his teammates. We could all say whatever about him but his work ethic isn't to be questioned.

So when your in your 19th season & going harder than guys who haven't even made a name in the League, that's whats gonna happen

I don't see nothing wrong with what Kobe did in the video  . If more elite players were like that and NBA players were that passionate about the game, we would be back in the 90's. Its just a different style of leadership and I guarantee you most veterans who were at least all-stars would appreciate that. As much as Boozer sucks, he probably agreed with what Kobe was doing. Probably got the Utah Jazz version of Boozer in that practice

I don't think anyone is questioning his work ethic....if anything, I'd question his leadership.

Its just a different style of leadership. I don't think its considered bad leadership. Its the same kinda leadership you would get from a hard nosed coach or in the military. Would I lead that way? No. But, I can respect that and I wouldn't be going out like a ***** in practice. Swaggy P definitely gained some more respect from me for how he stood up for himself. :pimp:

Kobe should save passing Jordan until Sunday just to spite ESPN.

Speaking of this, I think MJ should come out of retirement again and play the rest of the season for the Hornets, just to troll. They're season is a disaster anyway and he can probably still average like 8 ppg in the East, even at 51 or whatever he is.

Due to that video?

That ain't nothing different then what happens on basketball courts all across the world, these aren't HS kids, these are grown *** men who do this professionally, he isn't attacking them personally, he's attacking their skill level at basketball. I want the teammate who's gonna take that come back down court and try to kill me in the game, not the one who's gonna be flustered and hang his head.

Oh, I get it. Trust me. However, I don't think what Kobe is doing is necessarily going to bring out the best in his teammates. It's got to be frustrating for Kobe, but again, he knew what he was getting himself into.

Man if you guys think Kobe is rough, yall should have heard about how Jordan slandered his teammates
Only dude he couldn't mess with was Bill Cartwright, and it took a legit "imma break your legs MJ if you don't stop" to get him to shut up for once

But you have to consider who you're leading. That kind of hard *** act isn't going to work with everyone. Kobe should recognize that he's dealing with a bunch of guys who have shaky confidence to begin with. Telling them the suck is not going to motivate them, but probably make things worse.

Not everyone responds to that though. Some people respond to challenges, others encouragement. You have to know what works with who.

with as bad as this season has looked for them, they are only 2 1/2 games back from the 8th spot . I still predict charlotte being a playoff team, they simply have more talent than the others in their position.
