is it me or does it seems like Russy punks OJ everytime they meet?

i rememeber the 1st they played each other in college and OJ had the hype machine behind him and i think Russy held him to like 4 pts on like 1-6 shots. cold blooded took his heart.

Toronto...you had one job to do last night. One job.

**** the Cavs. Don't care if they win 25 straight. They still ain't ****.

As far as Boogie. Meningitis is no joke. I went to school with a kid who ended having a foot amputated and losing fingers due to having it.

I wish him the best.

To be fair, every team only has one job every night (to win)

Its not like Drummond is a guard, hes a big, he can only flourish if the system he's in is designed to get him the ball in the correct spots.

That's the thing, he's getting all kinds of post up opportunities and he's responded by shooting sub .500 from the field.

I've only watched 1.5 Pistons games so I cant say much but of what I saw it looked like a disaster. Even the post touches he was getting it was crazy late in the shot clock and he didnt even have the time to go into his move.

Post game is still raw, cant just expect a big man who does all the dirty work to all of a sudden become a post threat in one season

does drummon have that drive to not just get better but be elite. i remember coming out of hs, he was top recruit but didnt really dominated cbb. maybe it was due to uconn's situation at that time. i really thought his experience at team usa would motivate him. he's still young, but still. i know pistons roster is a mess, hope svg can unload the trash

I think the people who felt like they were not making the playoffs did not anticipate Russ and KD rushing back from their injuries. I may be wrong, but was KD suppose to be out til January?

Yep those were the initial reports. Dudes in my fantasy basketball league were getting on me for drafting him round three using that as their basis, I just laughed. As if recent history has not told us otherwise regarding these injury time tables.

So I've been to about 11 pistons games so far, both court-side and in the suite, so seeing the things from up-close and personal and also a further view, looking down on the game and I can honestly say that:

A. they literally run zero plays.

or

B. they have the worst execution. EVER.

There is simply no way they run plays. Like, I never hear them call out anything, I never see stand or BJ or DJ ever motion any hand signals. These guys just go out and play rec league ball and hope something happens. Well, 13 straight L's is something right? Brandon is one of the worst pg's I've ever seen. He can easily be in that Jeremy Lin category. He is terrible in pretty much every facet of the game. The fact he isn't coming off the bench for DJ Augustin yet is beyond me.

Stan said Josh Smith would no longer be allowed to shoot 3s, so what does J-Screwed do? Shoots 3's or airballs 15 footers.

Monroe thinks he's better and worth more than he actually is. He can be a starting center, but that team won't be a contender, or he can come off the bench for say t.chandler and he'll flourish. trust me.

Caldwell-pope has actually come into his own. He's kind of exciting to watch. He doesn't really drop big numbers, but he's seemed to be the most consistent.

DJ is a real pg and should get all of the minutes. He is a ****** though and a defensive liability. But, he's a pass first pg, and compared to BJ's 'chucking, And-1, let me shoot a fadaway on an open shot and fall because it looks cooler' ***, DJ is exactly the kind of PG that they need.

Jody Meeks is my guy, but he hasn't played one game this season because of back issues. Laker4Life.

Everybody else is pure garbage, waste of space.

I'm pretty sure Westbrook/Durant were rushed given the way things were going a couple of weeks back. If they were going to be out an extra two or three weeks like projected, I had them missing the playoffs.

Edit:

Speaking of the Pistons:

Poor SVG. Count them Ms.

freeze freeze those courtside seats at pistons games can't cost more than a D12 album....

jk

but seriously, how much does it set you back to sit courtside at a Pistons game?

Brandon Jennings has basically been living off the first few months of his NBA career.

 @ that Jennings shot at the beginning of the vid

Idk what y'all saw or see in Drummond offensively. I remember getting fries for saying his potential is a better version of Deandre Jordan.

Dude just has zero touch and a bad bball iq. He gets plenty of post up opportunities but is completley lost when he catches it. He's still young so u expect him to improve.

Just never bout that whole talk about him being better than a prime Dwight by this year and all that nonsense.
