I pegged them for 25 wins, yet knew they wouldn't get more than two wins this month (and this was before the injuries started to pile up).

What was I thinking?

All along I was thinking people were crazy for thinking the Lakers would realistically get a top 5 pick. After seeing how washed Kobe is and how terrible Boozer is im all about the Lakers tanking the hell out of this season and the next.  If teams are genuinely interested in Kobe Bryant I think they should look at moving him.  I get the Lakers want to show they are loyal to players but modern NBA has show us that there are very few loyal players left.

Kobe is the only reason ppl are even going to the games he's a dog and pony show for the Buss' at this point.

Understood, but this team isn't doing anything for at least 3 more years.  If they can get something decent out of Kobe they should look at it.

Uhh no. Bean's still Box Office and in that regard, they won't come close to getting a decent return for Kobe.

Lakers Assign Jordan Clarkson, Xavier Henry To D-League

Jordan Clarkson and Xavier Henry have been assigned to the Los Angeles D-Fenders from the Los Angeles Lakers.

Clarkson, a second round pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, has appeared in eight games for the Lakers this season, averaging 4.3 points and 1.4 rebounds in 11.4 minutes. Clarkson played two seasons at the University of Tulsa, before transferring to Missouri where he appeared in 35 games and averaged 17.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 33.9 minutes.

Henry has appeared in seven games this season for the Lakers, scoring 1.3 points per contest. A product of Kansas University, Henry appeared in 43 games for the Lakers in 2013-14, averaging 10.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 21.1 minutes per game.

Scott Unable To Reach Nash Despite Lakers' Hope For Mentorship Role

Steve Nash has been out of sight around the Los Angeles Lakers since being ruled out for the entire season.

Byron Scott and Mitch Kupchak said they hoped Nash would serve as a mentor and de facto shooting coach for younger players.

That scenario has yet to take place, and Scott said he cannot even get Nash to return a phone call.

“If my coach would have called me,” Scott said, “I definitely would have called him back.”

Scott tried to downplay that as any kind of issue, saying he was “not angry at all.”

“I’ll try him again when I get some more free time tomorrow or Monday or something like that. I know he’s probably going through a tough time as far as trying to adjust to life without basketball at this particular point.”

Asked if he expected Nash to be around at all this season, Scott said, “I don’t know. I would like him to, but I don’t know.”

Scott feels Kobe can handle MORE minutes........

Whatever. Why even care at this point? Scott will be fired in 13 months anyway. Do whatever.
