OFFICIAL 2015 LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS OFF-SEASON THREAD (Lance, PP, Josh Smith, Aldrich - pretty nice l

What a pleasant surprise. If memory serves me right we are now either even ke have a winning record against every team in the west playoffs except Memphis. Nice.

Quiet as it's kept. We've been awesome against the west's elite. It's the eastern teams that's killing our record

Our struggles against the East this year have been really baffling. We have a chance to start turning it around in a couple weeks when we play the Bulls again in Chi.

The nature of the NBA man, boy i'll tell ya.

When we had that bad end to the grammy trip, it was "oh the clips are a first round exit" and it was soo much slander thrown our way. We were fake, pretenders, moves had to be made, the clips were old news and tired," we're going to be an 8th seed," all that was said.

But now, when we knocking off the teams you guys say are contenders while at the same time saying that we aren't, you don't hear ****. That's why I say we're underrated and have been this entire season. It's only when we have a little bad stretch that people talk about the Clippers. When we have a good stretch, we go completely under the radar. As if we aren't the only team out west that can say we've beaten GSW, Portland 2x, houston 2x, dallas 2x, san antonio 2x, OKC, and Phoenix 3x.

- Over the last few weeks, Big Baby is actually looking like a serviceable rotation big. I don't know how long this is going to last, but this is a huge development. (no pun)

- Austin Rivers tonight again proved why he was not worthy of the acquisition, but can be a big time player for us down the stretch. He's an excellent defender especially against 1's, and he's a really good spot up shooter from 3, something most don't even acknowledge when it comes to Austin. Overall, I've just been so happy with what he's brought to this team, considering who we had before him. (Farmar :x) Tonight should only aid in his Confidence.

-The only western conference team we haven't defeated yet is Memphis. Memphis will be a great test, although probably not an accurate one due to Blake's absence. Very interested to see how we compete Monday night.

- How we've played against these teams we'll meet in the playoffs is very encouraging. That's 4 in a row, 3 against western powers that we've essentially handled this year. Very encouraging.

- We hit the road this week, with some very difficult games without blake. Would love to get this win monday to finish off this homestand.

As well as we've played I just can't see how we beat Memphis . They're gonna slow the game down to their awful pace and it'll be difficult to get points without our transition offense.

Then again I thought we would lose to the Spurs and Rockets. Let's keep it going :pimp:

Honestly without Blake, the fluidity of the offense and the defensive energy have been stellar. Not saying we are better without him, but I hope he cuts down on his "get ball, then think for 3 secs in a triple threat position" tendency and to expend more energy on playing hard on defense.

Can't wait for Memphis.

Not that he's played great, but I've really come to appreciate Hawes. He's just solid. He may not be great at anything, but he's rarely bad. Tries hard on D, rebounds decently and is a threat on offense. Only times he annoys me is when he passes up really open shots.

Been saying for weeks that he's my favorite mediocre player

Love when he has 3 bad possessions in a row and starts letting the F bombs fly. If his release didn't take 10 seconds he would be sonmuch more effective. You can tell he doesn't feel comfortable shooting when someone is closing out on him. He starts his shot from his waist

Tough loss. Could of had it at the end, but CP was exhausted. He's been on a tear over the last 10, and this loss is encouraging to a degree. Competed and had a chance to win a game in which we scored 87 points. Great homestand, now just have to make some hay on the road.

Yeah, hard to be mad at losing a close one to the second best team in the league without BG, but man, we really had a chance to steal that one. Oh well, on to Houston.

Signed the homie to a 10 day deal! :pimp: :pimp: :pimp: too dope #DHouse #Dorsey #MyTeammateFreshmanYear

The Los Angeles Clippers plan to sign forward Jordan Hamilton of the Reno Bighorns to a 10-day contract Tuesday, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

The Clippers have been examining the buyout market, free agency and the NBA Development League for small forward depth and settled on Hamilton.

Hamilton, 24, has averaged 16.8 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists this season for Reno of the D-League.

Hamilton has had NBA stops with Denver (2011-14) and Houston (2014). He was the 26th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft out of Texas.

:smokin the Dons.

Was going to say that anyone named Jordan is ok with me (yes, that is my real first name), but then I remembered that we had bum *** Jordan Farmar on the team for half a season. Maybe Hamilton can return some pride to the name as far as performance with the Clips goes.

Bench be giving it away man. I get annoyed when jamal starts dancing with the Rock sometimes. Looks like cp3 is going to have to start playing 38mpg + for this stretch.

Darron Collison is missed.

Bench was the difference in this one. Rockets bench outperformed ours. I'm not made though - I knew this was coming. Rockets were bound to get a W against us.

Heard the bench gave this one away. Didn't even see the game. But it's all good, no sweat. I meant to say what you said earlier, the Rockets were due. If I was a betting man I would have bet that they would win this one.

CP with another great game. Still encouraged.

The starters' tanks are all gonna be on E by the time the playoffs roll around...

To be fair, the bench had been performing much better as of late. Big Baby especially has been much improved. They just got outworked and outhustled last night.

Outside of the rare blowout win/loss, CP and DJ are still pushing a HARD 40 mins a night, whether the bench is playing well or not. It's just how Doc operates his teams.
