Angry Man Confronts PanHandling "Homeless" 78 y/o Grandmother After Seeing Her in New Car

Man....i know a chinese lady that does this in SF. Same spot every day. I swear she probably just thought it was a good idea and just randomly showed up asking for money. I mean at least play some instruments or something. I swear I feel like she thinks we don't know what she is doing. To this day,I don't see anyone giving her a dime.

:smh:

Brah lets not go to far. Some of these people actually need help

Now we gonna lock someone up for just asking for money to feed their kids :rolleyes

Actually, yes.  If you are using your toddlers and infant to try to scam money out of people then you deserve to have CPS called, lose your kids, and get locked up.  If you drive your family up in a van and make them stand out in the hot sun on a blazing Texas summer day trying to scam hardworking people out of there money, you deserve to lose everything.

So if they're sitting in a cool shaded area it is ok then?

I low key get pissed when I see dudes my age asking me for cash flow...

I'd be pissed if grambs led me on too
9 times out of 10 that money you give them is going to waste. I never give money to pan handlers. But if I see a bum just chillin mindin his business. I'm likely to cop a sandwich and hand it to him. They're ALWAYS super grateful. But the dude askin you for money? I offer him a sandwich and he looks at me sideways like I was trying to cut him in line at the barbershop. #noeyejammiesplease

Living in Austin, these people make me sick.  There are panhandlers at pretty much every intersection, including highway intersections.  People here bring there young children with them to dry to draw sympathy as well.  My girl and I have seen the same family camped out in front of grocery stores all over the greater Austin area begging.

9/10 times these people are just straight up scamming.  I honestly wish the option was there to lock up the panhandlers as a preventative measure.

Funny this is... Homeless people would rather get locked up than live out in the streets.

This is where our taxes go.

I drive between NY and DC often.

About a month ago, at a rest stop in PA, as I was walking out of the bathroom a completely normal looking guy in his mid-20s goes. "Hey can I ask you a question? I'm driving up to Massachusetts to visit my mom and I locked my keys in my trunk. I'm waiting for the locksmith to come now but I don't have any cash. Do you have any cash you can spare?" I felt bad for him but didn't have any cash on me.

Fast forward to Sunday night when I'm driving from NY to DC and stop at a rest stop in PA. I see a guy who looked familiar hanging out inside the restrooms at the rest stop but didn't really think anything of it. Until I come out of the bathroom and he hits me with the same exact story about visiting his mom in Mass and locking his keys in his trunk. I just stopped him halfway and told him sorry I didn't have any money and was :smh:

It made me feel a certain way though, because, if I had any cash the first time, I probably would have given him a couple bucks. Then I see it was an all an act and he's probably making good money hustling people at this rest stop who he'll likely never encounter again. I felt like going back and punching him in the face or reporting him to the police but I didn't do anything. Not worth the trouble.

In before someone creates a "crowd fund" account on her behalf, while simultaneously demonizing the brown guy for being mean and insensitive.

A sad case that is much more common than most people realize

I remember once I saw an homeless man chillen outside of mcdonald's askin for money to get something to eat, I go myself thru the drive thru and get him some mcChickens, come back to give it to him and homeboi told me he was a vegetarian

didn't know if he was lying to me or not, but I was young with a general mistrust of some of the homeless people in the area cause I knew most of em' were junkies, jokingly told him it might help if he started to eat some meat, dropped the bag down next to him and just drove off.

Don't mind once in a while giving somebody something to eat but I don't fund nobody that ain't mine without a proven worthy cause.

There's a dude near my neighborhood who asks for specifically a job, but people just give him money.
I give this dude 5 dollars one day, we literally went to Food Lion after that, this ***** is walking out with a 6 pack of beer

Never again :smh:

@ Pan Handling Permit..

Only in America..
yeah damn never heard of this

crazy entitlement even from panhandlers

makes it difficult for the people who are really destitute and out of luck to get any sympathy from the public because you don't know if they're scamming you or not

No, it isn't.  My point is they need their children to be taken away and have the book thrown at them for child endangerment.

They have a a car and a place to stay obviously. How bout let your small children and infant stay at home with your wife and work a real job?  How about the husband and wife put the children in daycare and both get jobs/work more hours? The fact that they are using their children for pity to scam money out of people with no regard for the health of their children is the real issue.

I'll say it again, come to Austin and see how big this problem is.  These people are a nuisance everywhere in this city and are responsible for a decent amount of crime.  The panhandlers killed one of their own over a territory dispute earlier this year.  Panhandling needs to be made illegal, straight up.
